Trump sounds hateful and we don't like hate, gotta get rid of hate in our society so we hate Trump...

Does that pass the Logic 101 test? just wonder..............

I don't think Trump sounds hateful at all. I wish someone would take away his Twitter account but I don't think he sounds hateful.

Really? Could you then explain how all of these would not be considered hateful?
These are the 15 worst things Donald Trump has ever said
I would particularly draw your attention to number 5:
5. 'She probably, maybe she wasn't allowed to have anything to say.'

Trump's July 2016 remarks, made in the wake of a widely hailed Democratic National Convention speech by Kzir and Ghazala Khan, the parents of the late Army Captain Humayun Khan, who was killed in action in Afghanistan.

In a fiery speech, Mr. Khan lashed out at what he described as Trump's bigotry and lack of regard for civil liberties, saying, "Let me ask you, have you even read the U.S. Constitution? I will gladly lend you my copy."

Trump laced into the Khans, reserving particular scorn for Mrs. Khan, remarking to ABC News that "If you look at his wife, she was standing there. She had nothing to say. She probably, maybe she wasn't allowed to have anything to say. You tell me."

In an op-Ed published in The Washington Post, Mrs. Khan said she was too overcome by grief to speak.'

“Walking onto the convention stage, with a huge picture of my son behind me, I could hardly control myself. What mother could?” she wrote. “Donald Trump has children whom he loves. Does he really need to wonder why I did not speak?”
tulc(would be interested in this that being explained)

or this one:
https://www.vox.com/2015/8/20/9182169/trump-hate-crime
Two Boston men were charged Wednesday in the beating of a homeless Mexican man. The victim was allegedly sleeping outside a subway station when brothers Scott and Steve Leader rummaged through his things, then started beating him around the face and neck and hitting him with a metal pole. One witness heard the brothers laughing as they walked away.

Here's what police say Scott Leader told them to justify the assault: "Donald Trump was right — all these illegals need to be deported."

Here's what Donald Trump said when told about the alleged assault (according to the Boston Globe) at a Wednesday press conference in New Hampshire: "I haven't heard about that. It would be a shame, but I haven't heard about that." Then the crowd buzzed, and Trump added: "I will say that people who are following me are very passionate. They love this country and they want this country to be great again. They are passionate. I will say that, and everybody here has reported it."

You mistake anything that rubs your hypersensitive sense of idealism the wrong way to be hate.
so...that would be "I can't defend/explain anything on the list so obviously the fault is with you, not President Trump."?
tulc(doesn't find that response surprising at all and doesn't take it personally)

He was goaded since she attacked him first. He was defending himself and his response was mild compared to what she said.
....didn't it start when he attacked her because she didn't say anything while they were on stage? :sorry:

Actually, it's "I've seen your posts and I'm not wasting my time invalidating what you have to say because it would lead nowhere".

Nice spin, I'd give it a "6" out of "8".
tulc(knows President Trump doesn't give his supporters much of anything to work with, so this response isn't a surprise either)

Trump is the epitome of the works of the flesh (hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, and factions). And out of the abundance of his heart, he spews out malicious slander and vicious insults toward anyone who opposes him. He cruelly mocks and disparages anyone he despises.

Jesus said, "You will know them by their fruits" (Matthew 7:16) and Trump is definitely known by the rotten fruit he bears in his life. As I said before, if he genuinely believed in Jesus Christ and believed the teachings of Christ, then it would demonstrated in his words and in his behavior. However, it isn't.

He only speaks Christianese because he knows that it will entice his devout Christian supporters and keep them perfectly appeased. He uses and manipulates people to his personal advantage. He's a very cunning and deceitful man, so he knows what melody to play to get people to follow him and he plays people like a fiddle. I can envision him privately mocking the Christians who faithfully support him.

It is all in the post. I guess you missed it:

"Trump's July 2016 remarks, made in the wake of a widely hailed Democratic National Convention speech by Kzir and Ghazala Khan"

So, the hateful speech targeting Trump was made first, and in the wake of that speech came Trump's response which, as I said, is very mild yet you presented it (number 5 out of 15 things) as if it was the worst somehow.

...was this you responding to the list I posted? Because I'm not sure how it corrects anything on the list of what you described as "(any)thing that rubs your hypersensitive sense of idealism the wrong way" and I described as "hateful things President Trump has said". Because that response appears to be more of a question, not an explanation. :sorry:

You must have missed the part where she didn't say anything while they were on stage, and President Trump attacked her because she didn't say anything. While she was standing there in front of the picture of her dead son, who died fighting for our country. But please, continue explaining how it was perfectly okay for the President of the United States to attack a grieving mother because "President Trump is always the real victim in these situations!". That classic "He was just defending himself from her silence!" defense? That one never gets old. :D
tulc(no really, never even once gets old)

so we hate Trump...

Does that pass the Logic 101 test? just wondering..............

The only sound they were/are opposed to was the announcement he won the election. All the hate or whatever is a direct result of that.

Again, the speech against Trump happened first and Trump's response was second. This proves Trump was defending himself.

...so...how does that make what he said not hateful? And again, he attacked her for not saying anything, so I'm sort of having a problem understanding what he was "defending himself" from, from someone who didn't, you know, say anything?
tulc(is still trying to see how that isn't hateful) :sorry:

As you can see the irony of your post quickly got lost in all the hate. It may not be logical, (and returning hate for hate is definitely not Christian) but it is certainly human nature.
