God doesn't have a brain according to those who say he wills his attributes.
"Will" is the brain function before action. "Attributes" are characteristics like self-consciousness. For God to even declare immortality, eternity, "light" He had to define it first in both the scientific realm and the act of creating it. All by the use of brain power.

God freely chose according to his nature all that will ever be and its assigned path. This is the basis for his omniscience. So he is not learning anything from what he planned and created. This plan is unchangeable being perfect. ny change would deny omniscience and his perfection.
so it's just an equivocation problem. Let's just call "free will" being sovereign over choices than we can be on the same page. So if this is free will God has free will because he is sovereign which should be fairly non-controversial to state. Now let's get to the question you really want. Are we sovereign over our own choices ergo do we have free will (based on the aforementioned definition)?

Perfection limits God's will.

But not for those who reject Christ. Look around.

It's not the Father's wrath you see, that day will be terrible. What you see is the consequence of sin.

"The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come" (Joel 2:31, cited in Acts 2:20).

Scripture says it's his wrath.

All mature adults have been given the "gift" of faith, they just need to direct that faith toward the Creator.
“And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.” 2 Thessalonians 3:2 (KJV 1900)

You are confusing the use of the term "will". God's will is perfect and cannot change. That's one use of the term. Another is his will for believers. And his will for unbelievers, all summed up in his perfect unchangeable will.
May be best rephrased as God does not change His mind. However that may not be entierly correct either.Several times He was known to change His mind throughout scripture.

A character change is not possible with God however a change in mind is indicated in scripture many times.
If you read the OT according to the NT revelation, God is not a really big man who remourses and changes his mind. He is helping primative people understand what they see as though he was. = Anthropomorphisms.

“And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.” 2 Thessalonians 3:2 (KJV 1900)
2 Thess. 3:2 And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil people, for not everyone has faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one (NIV)

We know not everyone has saving accepting faith at any particular time. Faith and faithful are the same Greek word, so this “faith” is being contrasted with Christ’s “faith”, so to be apples to apples it would have to be the same being “faithful”.
