Hello brethren and sisters in Christ I am new to this forum and hoping this is a community I can fit myself in. Jesus came into my life 3 years ago and been following him since he came to me when I was in the pit of darkness and despair and when my life was at its lowest it could go and he’s been redeeming my life and has given me life and am so thankful that he is in my life now... still learning and growing, hoping and believing having faith in God that he is the one that I so desperately need.

Hello! So thankful Christ has renewed your life, it is most definitely an exciting thing. I got saved when I was 18 years old and it was the best decision of my life. We all continue to have struggles and we all are still learning and growing. I honestly don't think we ever stop that process. Just keep talking to God and asking Him to help you grow and understand His word.

Hello Holy_joe, and welcome to the family here at CF. As has been mentioned, we are quite an eclectic bunch, and the glue that holds us together is Jesus Christ (isn't He an AWESOME "Glue" and "Anchor" for us?)

We've ALL had struggles...it's sorta' like God's own boot camp and/or training ground and/or wilderness journey, so to speak. That verse comes to mind about that fiery furnace of affliction, where the intent is for God to bring us through as pure "gold".
