I think that the fact that Ezekiel uses the word "prince" to describe the role that King David has after he is resurrected has the potential to open a whole new line of discussion between Jews, Christians, Messianic Jews and Messianic Gentiles.

Why is King David.... entitled merely a "prince" in the Era of Moshiach / Messiah predicted by Ezekiel?

My theory is that he doesn't even want to begin to attempt to compete with his great, great, great grandson Messiah Yeshua - Jesus who is King of all kings and Lord of all lords!

I put heaven because that is where God is and that is all that matters to me, that I am with Him.

I personally went with both heaven as well as in a restored earth....... my reasoning is that I think that you and I and our saved ancestors may well become that voice that people hear during the Millennium that helps them to stay out of trouble.

Exactly..... which is why I believe in a truly restored and utopian earth and have for over four decades.

It looks to me like a century becomes the minimum lifespan during that thousand years in which Messiah Yeshua - Jesus rules over the earth with King David serving as his prince......

Now I admit that this subject is somewhat complex because it is clearly predicted that after Messiah Yeshua - Jesus reigns over the earth for one thousand years then...... even the Ancient of Days the Father comes down to the earth so in a sense..... earth becomes heaven..... I think?!

I tend to think we'll be able to be in two kingdoms or two different type dimensions....the heavenly realm and the earthy physical one as well....in other words the ability to go back and forth. I think certain things of this are a mystery though but God has not provides too much information in regard to it and for good reason I think.....we'd spend all our time talking about it instead of dealing with our present moment at hand.

I do like your thread though. Many Christians look at the present world like if one is an American just who and what party will be in control, who will be in power and what laws will be made. Good to keep in mind though whoever wins in these present day struggles they'll all be a mere footnote in history compared the big and great thing to come.....the universal kingdom of Christ being established and what it'll mean. So all political commotions of this day are mere speed bumps before we get to the smooth road of Christ and his Kingdom.

Frankly..... I am quoting the Bible and I am not willing to teach that my old church the Worldwide Church of God was one hundred percent incorrect in all that they taught me as a teenager.

I would not trade them for any other church because Mr. Garner Ted Armstrong in spite of his many, many, many, many flaws........
was an exceptionally good mentor to me and he got me reading The Bible and even historical fiction such as that by author Leon Uris that fitted with what I was learning about Biblical and modern history.......

One of the problems that I admit that Garner Ted left me with is that I tend to be somewhat more sarcastic than
I probably should be because he was more of a Christian Comedian in
many ways than a traditional preacher or evangelist.
