Tuesday 12-3-19, Kislev 6, 5780 3rd. day of the weekly cycle, 72nd. Fall day,

An Everlasting Government Ruled By The King Of Kings/Our Lord Jesus Christ:

And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Revelation 11:15

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Romans Fourteen:17

Principles of Christian Liberty:

Romans Fourteen:1-23

1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.

21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will serve and obey him. Daniel Seven:27

Kingdom of God

Kingdom of God, also called Kingdom Of Heaven, in Christianity, the spiritual realm over which God reigns as king, or the fulfillment on Earth of God’s will. The phrase occurs frequently in the New Testament, primarily used by Jesus Christ in the first three Gospels.

What did Jesus say about the Kingdom of God:

Luke 17:20-21 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

The Kingdom of God...……..
There are several verses in the Bible about the kingdom of God (KoG) and none of them individually speak in entirety about the nature of that kingdom. The kingdom is something within and without, something current and something future, something within and something we enter. All that scripture says on the matter must be read cohesively before the matter is adequately understood and, sadly, we are too often exposed to doctrinal or denominational biases falsely present as exegetical facts. This is most easily recognized whenever we read/hear proof-texting, or the practice of taking a single verse and forming doctrine based on that verse removed from its context or in neglect of all else scripture says on the subject.

The simple fact of the matter is that God, the omni-attributed God of the Bible, is almighty and sovereign. Once this is fully acknowledged and understood then it is also necessarily understood that there is no place or time in which God has not been King and Ruler of all. Yes, there is language of "kingdom" and "kingdoms," and yes there is language of war and battles but if we sit for just a moment and properly contemplate the reality of a sovereign almighty Creator, then we necessarily understand such language is figurative because no war can possibly exist one fraction of a nanosecond longer than God permits. He spoke creation into existence and He so chooses He can speak you and I and satan and anyone or anything out of existence. There is no real "war" against a big-G omni-attributed God.

There is no time or place where He is not King or where His kingdom does not exist.

And it's time we Christians started acting accordingly.

Beginning with the way we post among ourselves.

?

ALL society is pernicious (God Says). The nations of the world are gathered against Him.
The rulers of the nations have been committing spiritual fornication with the beast! (for centuries)

Yet Jesus tells His permanent disciples: The Kingdom is Already here, in you,
now start living like it (you ARE in it). (not the world is the kingdom, no).
MY kingdom is NOT of this world.

There is daily war.
The spirit vs the flesh every day.
The Bible makes this very clear, over and over again.
Experience every day in Christ Jesus makes this very clear also.
Most people everywhere reject God. They are sons of disobedience, dealing death everywhere to everyone they can, as written in Scripture. As realized daily all over the world.
They are not in His Kingdom.

When I post a summary of the usage of the phrase "kingdom of God/heaven" and you say you're trying to heed it…..

….help me understand what there is to be "heeded".

Or does the "heeding" part have to do more with the comments about the frequently occurring denominational/doctrinal biases and selective use of scripture common in lessons about the KoG?

Taking heed to how I should relate as for as the scripture foundations for understanding the subject, in this case being the kingdom of God/Heaven.

I encourage you to read, "He Shall Have Dominion," by Kenneth Gentry.

I also encourage you to consider 1 Samuel 8 and consider that passage in light of all the NT statements about the KoG and vice versa. Not sure if I previously posted this but you'll see that God never wanted the Israelites to have a human king or earthly monarchy; He was supposed to be their king and they rejected Him. The monarchy became part of their theology and influenced their understanding of the Messiah... so much so that they missed him when he stood right in front of them commanding creation, healing the sick, discharging demons, and teaching with unassailable authority.

Note also the early announcements of the KoG came accompanied with a command to repent.

"Repent! For the kingdom of God is at hand!"

Note also a new birth from above (genne anothen) is required to see it.
