Amen. Corrie Ten Boom comes to mind. Her faith was child-like in its simplicity and purity. She unabashedly loved God and TRUSTED Him without wavering. She knew Him as her Abba, her Father and she KNEW that HE would never fail her as such, regardless of how bleak and grievously tragic circumstances seemed at any given moment.

God bless you for this reminder and meditation on our God, and that He is WORTHY of TRUSTING.

Two things to share with you relative to your response:
1. I have a photo of a lit candle just like the one you show.
2. My wife and I had the privilege of being at the year 2000 Billy Graham Evangelistic Conference in Amsterdam.
Over 1100 evangelists from all over the world were present.
After the conference ended, we toured Holland for several days. (My wife - who has since passed away - had Dutch
heritage.) One of the places we got to see and enter is the
former home of Corrie ten Boom. When the guide led us up to the second floor she stopped at the landing between the two floors and pointed to a wall. There, she said, is the wall Corrie successfully hid behind when they came to arrest her.
What a privilege that was to see this historical landmark.
Thank you for allowing me to share these highlights in my
walk with Christ.

Thank you for so graciously sharing about your wife. How precious that you both were able to visit and see where Corrie Ten Boom hid, etc. I'm sorry she is no longer with you, however, surely she is with our Father in heaven, and with Corrie too, as He rejoices over them with singing.

Can you imagine seeing and hearing God rejoice over us with singing?
