Not important but interesting and amusing how the politics of a person can totally and absolutely change one's mind in how they're perceiving things. Back in 2016 when Hillary Clinton came out wearing a total white pantsuit style writer Vanessa Friedman called the outfit "presidential".

Now when Tulsi Gabbard comes out wearing the same thing she's accused by Friedman as portraying a "combative righteousness" and that the white fabric has the "connotations of the fringe, rather than the centre" and that it even undermines "community building."

NYT style critic attacks Tulsi Gabbard’s stunning white pantsuits as cult-like and ‘fringe’

All this makes me wonder if this is really what's happening to people's minds when they look at the facts of other things. Everyone is looking at this trial/impeachment information. Everyone seems to be perceiving it all different ways. It makes me wonder if a few years down the road if a President of which Trump opposers like if the same "facts" or notions of guilt were placed upon them how would they perceive that information. Would they say they're still looking Presidential....or rather like they're a cult leader?

By the way the night that Clinton officially won the Democrat leadership convention before her speech I said to a family member to watch this.....she's going to come out wearing total white. Why? To make it look like she's an angel or the color which suggests purity. And out she came! Everyone in the room laughed saying you were right!

As I'm sure most have noticed, both major parties have adopted a series of double standards and a rather shortsighted "turn on their own if they dare to show a shred of moderation" philosophy.

You see with how democrats will turn on anyone who's not pro-choice, opposes the Sanders/Warren version of Medicare-for-all, and doesn't take a hardline anti-gun position.

The same is true on the republican side of the fence, anyone in the (R) party who dares to embrace equality for gays, acknowledges climate science, or even just dares to criticize Trump gets labelled as a "traitor" and a "RINO"

I'm just thankful that we have a constitution that intentionally structured things in such a way that significant changes can only be ushered in quickly when you have the scenario of moderates compromising with each other or when everyone on both sides is largely in agreement, and when you have extreme people on either sides who don't want to "do business", the result is gridlock.

The silver lining of the latter scenario is that the US political system is expensive, and there's only so long that people (on either side) will tolerate giving up 1/3 of their pay to fund a system that's not producing any meaningful results.

I honestly don't know what people think anymore. I once thought I did but it's like the entire world is being stood on its head.
Practical everyone was taught wrong while growing up. About people, about God, about the world, about sin, and so forth. This is common trouble everywhere, worldwide.

So when anyone starts to learn the truth - UPSIDE DOWN it seems ... since in the world, the truth is called a lie, and the lie is published as the truth.... AS WRITTEN (God Said it is so) ....

Thus, a total change is needed....

We can go on and on... it's without end. So what do they think as I walk down the street?

I'm afraid to even ask. Its nothing more than a barrage of hate.
IS not this what Jesus said it is and would be for/ to all His permanent disciples, everyone also who stands up for the truth, seeking the truth daily, seeking God's Kingdom daily... ?

I admit some of this "upside down world" feeling comes from being saved.

But it's more than that..

I saw it prior to becoming saved too, I think the world is changing - in negative ways.

I was watching the hearings and made a few comments about it, I don't remember what I said exactly and my husband said look around at the world, it's burning down around us while we are focused on the wrong thing.

Even he is seeing it, and he's no new Christian. Something vital is changing.
Yes, and even the unbelievers , as God Permits, do or can see this. The wickedness is growing daily, and prayers for some people protect them from being deceived by it.
Others like the darkness, and embrace it, and reject the light (Jesus), because their lives are evil.

Some sin is a sin unto death - Jesus told us not to pray for them.
Some sin is not a sin unto death- Jesus told us we can pray for those people.

Daily abiding in Jesus with the Father, echad, we learn from Him daily experiencing His Kingdom.

It is Satan's attempt to destroy the Church. Christians are being marginalised. It won't be long before the Bible is officially declared to be hate speech. The head of a major sporting organisation in Australia has already made that pronouncement. She is more interesting in keeping sponsors than in supporting the truth. It takes just one election in a democracy to change a society. Australia has a relatively conservative government. Not many different votes would have produced an entirely different result. We should never slacken off praying for the government. Freedom is always under threat.
A white pant suit does look good on Tulsi but it’s not mentioned in Revelation.

All of this wailing and gnashing of teeth over a white pant suit? Hot, yes, but not fire and brimstone hot.

Maybe a white suit is mentioned in Two Corinthians. We should ask Trump. He would know.

Actually Christians are the main problem, when it comes to destroying churches. Many people in church have affairs, abortion and are horrible people. They want the freedom to control everyone else . And complain about their freedom being under threat. When they cant. And some people on the other side goes over board. When they get the rights they deserve. The solution would be for the government not allow religious of any kind , to make rules for everyone. They should be allowed to go to their place of worship. Refuse services to gay people all they want . But in the public leave people that don't to be religious alone. Also , If you live the Untied States. if you want to play the game . No services for LGBT. Then your store sould say Christian only. If you work at a store , where the owner doesn't discriminate. You don't like it. Look for another job. Very easy solution.

It's Christians (at least in the US) embracing dishonesty and hatred that is causing them to have their image tarnished.

Politicians and their advocates (on both sides of the equation) exhibit tremendous hypocrisy on a regular basis. Vanessa Friedman puts her hypocrisy on full display here, but she's certainly not alone in this type of behavior.

I'm an independent due to the corruption and dishonesty in both parties, but it doesn't mean I can't recognize the lesser of two evils.

I don't know but it seems to me that white is about the same as any other neutral color and the eye is more drawn to actual colors. For instance, the color of a man's tie compared to his white shirt and dark blue suit the tie stands out.
Tulsi's dark hair stands out against the white suit and therefore, draws the eye to her face rather than what she's wearing.
When Clinton ran against Obama she was criticized for her brown suit.
