There is a very informative movie produced about the life and work of Haik Hovsepian in Iran's Protestant house church movement called A Cry From Iran that I would recommend to anyone who wants to know more about the situation faced by Muslim-background believers in Iran. As you can probably tell by his (Armenian) name, Haik was not of a Muslim background, but many of the people in his church and others who he advocated for were, and he paid for his service with his life.

Wow. Moving. I have lately been so impressed in hearing about Iranian Christians and their greatly increasing numbers. Very humbling. They often seem far more like 1st century believers than those in the western world.

Iraq too.

We hear amazing stories from missionaries back from outreaches in hostile places at our annual conventions. I go to convention just to get inspired, though we are in a very tame if spiritually dead area ourselves lol.

Just a thought. If you have the time, why not give us a glimpse of the stories you hear, on this forum, to inspire us too?
I can give some stories but there is no way I can convey the anointing that they convey from the pulpit. That moving of God has to be experienced. Some also are sensitive areas that gets blanked out when the home church has internet broadcasts during services and one of these guys speaks or they show a video from there.
