Kanye West Calls Himself the 'Greatest Artist That God Has Ever Created' at Joel Osteen's Service

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth [THE LORD JESUS] (Grk. Kurion Iesoun; i.e., "Jesus is LORD"], and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with [THE HEART] man believeth unto righteousness; and with [THE MOUTH] confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:8-10)

"Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble." (1 Peter 5:5)

Not only do we find the words of Mr. West POMPOUS (i.e., "the GREATEST artist that god has ever created") -- but he refers to Jesus Christ as "king" -- but who is Jesus Christ? He is LORD! And without acknowledging this from the HEART (cf. Jer. 17:9-10; Matt. 24:48-51; Jn. 20:29) -- and not with lip service ONLY, one cannot be saved: they are inextricable linked.

"This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but [THEIR HEART IS FAR FROM ME]. But [IN VAIN THEY DO WORSHIP ME], teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." (Matthew 15:8-9)

TRUE confession must come from the heart of the confessing/professing SINNER, and Jesus Christ is to be GLORIFIED above all, first and foremost. Even more disturbing, we find him partnering with a wolf in sheep clothing (i.e., "Joel Osteen") -- who will lead MANY down the broad way towards destruction; those who live for their selfish, carnal, and worldly appetites are under the delusion that they belong to God and Christ, but when the fiery trials come their way . . . they will reveal their true colors as the false converts that they are.

"When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; [YET HATH HE NOT ROOT IN HIMSELF], but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful." (Matthew 13:19-22)

How do people make judgments of Kanye West off of some commentary? He is also bi-polar so he gets grandiose at times.
As far as my view on Kanye - I treat him as a new believer with grace & he is in need of some feeding with God's word, being taught the fundamental doctrines, & theology as well as in dire need of being discipled from a good Pastor. We should pray for him , there are many wolves in sheep's clothing and Kanye's celebrity makes him an easy target to receive heretical guidance.

Kanye calls himself Jesus, so I'm pretty certain at this point he considers himself to be Jesus or at least the new or updated or modern Jesus.

Meanwhile his kids are baptized into the Armenian Church, thank God for their mother to do at least that.

The comment was made in jest and came on the heels of his acknowledgement of the pride and arrogance he displayed in the past. He said his talent is being used for God and admitted Satan’s grip on business, music artists, producers, and designers.
