So you think that if we see someone who taught a completely unscriptural false doctrine and started a movement that sends millions to hell, that we should not point that out? Just live and let live?

False teachings....

Millions believe in the Saturday worship
Millions pray to patron Saints
Millions pray to the Mother Mary
Millions do not believe my version of rapture teaching
Millions do not believe in OSAS
Millions believe that the Baptism comes with tongues
Millions believe in a total immersion baptism
Millions do not believe in infant baptism

Am I to put these millions in hell because I consider their teaching false? There are teachings that are unique to a church congregation!

""Don't forget the third and fourth most important false doctrines;
If you believe in the doctrine that I don't, you're apostate.

and

If the holy spirit tells you something different than me, yours isn't the holy spirit because I read the bible more than you do.""

I wonder the same thing. Hard for me to learn I am not always right lol. To find out "In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established." Christ rose two angels, Christ goes up again two angels. Many more things like this in the word. Today we don't test the spirits that much if ever. I found the lord will never tell me to tell you "thus says the lord/God told me to tell you" unless you already knew. In this it confrims what you already knew. Paul and that Prophet. That prophet never told Paul what to do. They can't today. In the past they alone had the holy spirit so you best listen. That prophet told what would happen to the owner of that belt. And Paul already knew this :)

In searching I found they would always ask that person that said "God says, thus says the lord" Who are you? Who knows you? How long have you walked in what you preach/teach?" then would go pray for a very long time. VERY wise huh. And now do we wait when God gives us a word? To again test we really did hear from him? Do we have anyone above us so we can take what ever it might be..to test it? We all need someone over us for it can be easy to be deceived. And praise GOD glory to Jesus.. that He is lord and I can be wrong.. only He is right.

Are prophets today as they were in the OT? No.
Back then they alone had the holy Spirit in them.
In the OT, no one had the Holy Spirit indwelling them.
God's Spirit came UPON them ... all the prophets and some kings also.
(Only in 2(?) places, one of God's prophets said
God's Spirit was inside, but IMO he was mistaken.)

In the NT, the only believers receiving God's Spirit UPON
are the ones receiving Jesus' baptism with the Holy Spirit.
Normally, as you know, the Spirit is INSIDE.

It has to do with turning the grace of God into licentiousness!

Nothing on your list will send us to hell.

Licentiousness? Well.... That is bad. But the so called false teachings in the OP are not necessarily licentiousness and are things some good Christian congregations believe in. I believe in the pretrib rapture and do not run around wildly in the party scene. I know Christians who believe in OSAS and are committed lifelong Christians.

Smith Wigglesworth, like his earlier Methodist mentors, believed discernment and sanctification as something that sweetens the spirit up, making people more spiritual and loving. His wife once testified that she knew Smith was sanctified when he quit complaining about his food. Wigglesworth states that we are sanctified so that nothing hinders us in the manifestation of the Glory of God. In this way we are robbed of all pride, evil, and freely led of the Spirit. Evil thoughts come from the unclean believer, the man who is not entirely sanctified.

Concerning discernment Wigglesworth states, “Most people think they have discernment; but if they would turn their discernment on themselves for twelve months, they would never want to ‘discern’ again. The gift of discernment is not criticism. I am satisfied that in Pentecostal circles today, our paramount need is more perfect love. I have found many notable people in the world whom I know personally, who have gotten to running another person down and finding fault. They are always fault finding and judging people outright. God save us from criticism! When we are pure in heart we only think about pure things.”

The difference between those being led by the Holy Spirit and those who are deceived by Satan is joy, gladness, and a good countenance instead of sadness, sorrow, and depression. Jesus comes with joy into the soul and lifts you higher and higher, it is the spirit who gives light. When satanic power begins to rule; then there is weariness, then people’s faces are like a tragedy, and then their eyes glare as though they have passed through a terrible trial. You are always right to test the spirits (1 John 4:1), if not you will be sure to be caught napping. -Smith Wigglesworth

What I am seeing being taught in the Church that is totally false, is that you all think perfection has to do with sin. The lie is being taught that we will always sin, and even Paul struggled with sin. Also, that Paul taught this! NO! He taught we are dead to sin. Is that everyone, but him? Is he the only apostle that is not a Christian, because John teaches that born again, Spirit-filled Christians do not sin, and that is what Paul taught also.

Perfection has to do with maturing the divine nature. Sin is no longer the topic, because Jesus took away our sin, and in Him there is no sin. 1 John 3:5.

Here is the path to perfection in context that even Paul was striving for, and I will highlight the particulars. Paul wasn't striving to be sinless; he already was cleansed of all his "old sins":

2 Peter 1:2-11
2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.

10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
So, when Paul listed the works of the flesh in Galatians 5, he wasn't talking about sin? If sin is transgression of God's moral law, and the works of the flesh are transgressions of God's moral law, then what's the difference. And if Paul is saying that the flesh wars against the Spirit, why would have give a totally different definition of "flesh" that is inconsistent with his already stated list?

And, if Paul's struggle with his mortal body "of sin and death", why does he not say that this struggle happened before he was converted as you are indicating? You'd think he would say, "Before I was converted, I wasn't able to do the things I wanted, etc." But he is speaking of the present, in other words, his present experience as a converted believer. Also, because he acknowledges that Christ has delivered him from "the body of this death", he is not saying that the struggle with the flesh is concluded, because he says that he has to continue beating his body into submission until his life journey is over.

I already said that nothing on your list whether believed, or not believed will send us to hell. So your list is mute, and not cause for condemnation. But being taught that "no matter if we commit murder and adultery a 1000 times a day we are still saved," is turning the grace of God into licentiousness. Okay, maybe OSAS is cause for alarm when believed like that statement.

Paul told us to not grieve and never quench the Spirit. Did you notice that Galatians 5:19-21 participants are unsaved? Don't you know we don't have to sin? Look at 2 Peter 1:4 "... that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Jesus says to many, "Why call Me 'Lord, Lord!', and NOT do what I say?"
Jesus says to believers, "If you love Me, you will obey My commandments."
Who gets into heaven who doesn't love Jesus?
Who gets into heaven who doesn't obey His commandments?

Again, IF you believe that God is really GOD, then you won't NOT do as He says. If you are your own God and make up your own decisions based on what you want or want to believe, then you aren't really a saved Christian. The first commandment is to love the Lord God more than anything else...that includes what makes you comfortable or happy. That is what it means to recognize that Jesus is God.

There is a slight problem with your warning. It doesn't go along with the spirit of the New Testament. And the prophet function that you are using ceased at the death of John the Baptiser in 30AD.

That is why BCsenior quoted, and referred to, the Scriptures. READ the Scriptures he gave.

Problem solved.

We are indeed free - free from guilt, shame, penalty, and condemnation. Our lives are hid with God in Christ. There is no doubt about that. Therefore we are set free from the power of sin, and it has no more power to condemn us.

This is not to say that we can willingly continue in the works of the flesh. Paul said, "Shall we continue in Sin that grace may abound, God forbid! How can a person continue in sin when he (or she) is dead to it?"

But as long as we are in our mortal bodies, there will always be the presence of sin, and that is why we are subject to temptation. But the power of the Holy Spirit in us makes us able to withstand temptation, and although we struggle with temptation, we do not let the works of the flesh dominate us.

When the Scripture says that the soul that sins, it shall die, for the Christian believer, it is the death of our mortal bodies. In that sense our mortal bodies are still corrupted with sin. This is what Paul meant when he said that in his heart he wanted to follow the Law of God, but he had a struggle with the desires and urges of his mortal body. But the grace of God through the finished work of Christ, his standing with God is not diminished in any way because of his mortal body.

So, victory over the flesh and sin is a matter of right now, but not yet. We have the title deed, which is the seal of the Spirit, but will not come into full possession until we are resurrected into glory with the Lord.

We have just sold our house in preparation for our move to Christchurch. The sign at the front has "SOLD" on it. This means that the house is definitely sold and will be confirmed through the signing of the transfer of title documents. But the new owners will not be settling the price and taking possession until 11 December.

But I will be living in the house, doing the same things as before, but packing our effects in preparation for the move, until the settlement date. In many ways, nothing has changed, and the big changes will not happen until we leave and arrive in Christchurch.

Our standing with Christ in this life is exactly the same. The transfer of title from the powers of darkness and sin have been signed and we are sold to Christ, but the full settlement and possession will not happen to our resurrection and in our glorified bodies.

I have, and see quite clearly that the various verses have been cobbled together apart from their proper context to prove a point. Anyone can make the Bible to say what they want that way.

To extract the truth of God's Word, one must do accurate exegesis on each verse in its context, examining who it was said to, what was said, where it was said, how the listeners understand it, and why it was said.

It is true that we must obey the gospel and the commands of Christ, but what are the commands of Christ to us? The command is to love one another as Christ loves us. That covers the whole Law and the Prophets. Also the command of God is that we believe on and total faith in Christ alone for our justification and sanctification. When we follow those commands, we are complying with every other command that Christ has given.

Furthermore, who is qualified to lay any charge of falsehood against God's elect. Does anyone know who is truly elected of God and who isn't? If it is God who justifies, and Christ gave His life on the cross for the elect, who else has the stature to make any judgment about who is genuine and who is false?

So, to make generalised accusations and against the church and its pastors of falsehood is just plain arrogance and trying to be the Holy Spirit to the church.

So, the OP's role of "Prophet" to the church is not recognised by the majority of those who are reading and responding to this thread, and because the Prophetic role has to be recognised by the whole body of Christ, then the microcosmic representation of the body of Christ in this thread doesn't recognise the OP's assertion of a Prophetic role.

Every New Testament prophecy has to be judged by those experienced in the prophetic, and most responders on this thread judge the "prophetic warnings" to be inconsistent with God's truth in His written Word.

Oscarr!!! That is not contextually scriptural. What is the subject of these verses?

John 8:34-36
34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Free from what again? Guilt, shame, penalty, condemnation? NO! FREE FROM SIN!!!

What Reformationists say is we are FREE TO SIN!!! Sin without guilt. Sin without shame. Sin without penalty. Sin without condemnation. RUBBISH!!!

Great!

Yes, our bodies will die because of Adam's sin. But as Christians we will get a new body. But our nature is born again NOW. When we are born again, we are partakers of the divine nature, and are freed from any desire to sin. That is now and forever. Revelation 22:11

You read it too quickly. Read what I added.
Yes. I did read it. Your mortal body is sentenced to death because of sin. Therefore while you are in your mortal body the presence of sin is still with you.

Are you saying you have no desire to sin? Really? Let's look at the works of the flesh:

"The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like" (Galatians 5:19-21_.

So since you were converted to Christ:
You have never had a lustful or impure thought;
You have never read a horoscope, ouija board, or anything else of the occult, even something minor like tricking or treating at Halloween;
You have never got angry at anyone;
Never been contentious;
Never involved in a clique or faction of any kind;
Never had even a small thought of envy concerning anything that anyone has that you haven't got;
Never been jealous of anyone who has been in a role that was denied to you;
Never chosen selfish actions in any way;
Never got drunk;
Never watched movies or TV programmes that involve impurity, violence or godlessness;
Never had even the slightest judgmental thought about anyone;
Never been thankful that you are not like someone who has been immoral or sinful.

It is not just the outward actions, but there are thoughts and attitudes of the heart that can involve temptation and a falling short of sinless perfection.

These are the struggles and pressures we all have, including you if you are to be realistic about yourself, while we are in this mortal body.

Do you still not understand that "flesh" has two meanings?

1. Nature
2. Body
Oh, and I forgot to examine the fruit of the Spirit!

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."

So, since your conversion, you have always been:
Totally loving toward every single person you have met;
Always joyful and thankful in every circumstance;
Always being peaceful and promoting peacableness;
Always forbearing and patient toward every single person, even those in the forum who have argued against you;
Always kind and gentle, especially those who have been unkind, and not gentle with you;
Always showing goodness in everything you do.
Being totally faithful to your word and every promise you have made;
Always being self-controlled in every situation, positive or negative.

What this means that any single failure, no matter how slight is an infraction of God's moral law.

If in the light of all these things, you still think you are totally sinlessly perfect, then you are a better person than I am Gunga Din!
