You can be a "rebel" to the world's way of thinking, and embrace Christ! Right?

Do be careful, though - get a good helmet and USE it.

Yeah, I think you're overthinking. Consider how rebellious Jesus was; modern Christian culture often tries to embrace a squeaky-clean lifestyle, which unfortunately leads many to forget just how anti-establishment our Lord & Savior was. This also leads to excluding people (like bikers) who are all-in for fighting for something good, but are turned off when people are scandalized by alcohol, swear words, or even the word "rebel". These things should all be done in moderation, of course, but we have a bad habit of prioritizing surface-level imperfections over what really matters. Give me a guy with tattoos, liquor, and a sailor's mouth who will fight for justice at all costs; this man may not look clean, but he's living the Christian life far better than someone who makes sure they don't say anything offensive, without actually doing anything to help the oppressed.

Consider what you're doing (with a "rebel" bike) in terms of St. Paul:

"Although I am free in regard to all, I have made myself a slave to all so as to win over as many as possible. 20 To the Jews I became like a Jew to win over Jews; to those under the law I became like one under the law—though I myself am not under the law—to win over those under the law. 21 To those outside the law I became like one outside the law—though I am not outside God’s law but within the law of Christ—to win over those outside the law. 22 To the weak I became weak, to win over the weak. I have become all things to all, to save at least some. 23 All this I do for the sake of the gospel, so that I too may have a share in it." --1 Corinthians 9
Peace & all God's blessings to you & all you'll meet!

Agree with the others. Walk with Christ, and rebel against the elemental principles of this world. My beginner's bike was a Ninja 250. Then I graduated to a Yamaha FZ6. I had a license plate bracket made that said, "Riding with the King". I dedicated my riding experience first to the Lord's purposes, and never regretted it.

It's ok to be sensitive about such things, it proves that you have a conscience. And that should be our guide. Flashing thoughts are not conscience. It is a quiet monitor that just says "wrong". Personally, I'd buy the Triumph but that's just me. It's been a long time since I owned a motorbike.

If it really bothers you, it will take the enjoyment away. Pray about it and come to the place where you are at peace with the decision.

'Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft'. I am not a rebel.

You did get the part about Athanasius against the world, right? Or, maybe you're just interested in virtue signaling. That's cool, too.

No.

Still, I can't in good conscience recommend that you buy a motorcycle. Three friends of mine have died in motorcycle crashes. Separately, I witnessed a single bike crash a few years ago and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the rider died some time after getting loaded into the ambulance.

Do what you want. But be careful.

I've had a lot of bikes and black is my favorite color. If you happen to buy black you can just paint over the rebel lettering.

Honda is one of my favorite brands and I have owned several -- you can't wear them out.

Harley Davidson's are very cool when they are running good.

Here's a thought: Whose money are you using to buy the motorcycle? Yours or God's? This is a bit of a trick question.

No, I didn't get that. If I knew what virtue signalling is, I'd be able to respond. It sounds like something to avoid like the plague.

I looked up virtue signalling on the net. Sounds like rank hypocrisy and what used to be called cant.
