It's like they've convinced themselves that the whistleblower is the one and only source of information and/or that if they can somehow show bias on his part, that makes everything that they've learned in the inquiry disappear.

The whistleblower is pretty irrelevant at this point.

It's part of why I've pulled back from commenting on a bunch of these threads (that, and I'm trying to let some of my warnings expire). If a person doesn't understand this point despite it having been made numerous times, then there's pretty much zero chance of having an interesting or informative discussion with them.

It does not matter if the Biden's are guilty -- if they are they should be prosecuted -- as it does not change that the President abused his office.

It does not matter if the Biden's are innocent & Viktor Shokin is lying, as it does not change that, according to unrefuted sworn witness testimony evidence (one of the strongest forms of direct evidence at Law), the former VP abused his office:

• "Vice-President Joe Biden engaged in a pressure and influence campaign upon the government of Ukraine to financially benefit his son Hunter Biden"
• "former Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin said he has “no doubt” Biden wanted him gone to help protect Hunter Biden’s employer. At the time, Shokin was investigating Burisma Holdings while Biden’s son Hunter was on the board earning as much as $50,000 a month"
• "He alleges, “The truth is that I was forced out because I was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into Burisma Holdings…a natural gas firm active in Ukraine. Joseph Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was a member of the Board of Directors. Where's your outrage? American POTUS candidates with obvious conflict-of-interest ties to corrupt foreign firms (plural, as in "pattern" plural) funneling money to their families...

...and nevermind that several, very credible witnesses, have validated the whistleblower's original complaint. In all cases, the witnesses were smeared....witnesses who have a lift time of professional service to their country.

You're wrong, but again, it doesn't matter because the IG is responsible for investigating the complaint and determining whether or not it truly represents an "urgent concern". They did investigate and they did determine that.

I thought the meetings and everything has been secret. Have they released everything now? I was told in another thread that there has been no leaking. Do you have all the evidence and all the transcripts and everything?

Note: by all appearances, then, the Democrats would willingly undermine US National Security in order to protect their party and its (apparently) corrupt members

• on April 21, 2019 “Trump expressed his desire to work with President Zelenskyy and extended an invitation to visit the White House” [which] undermines the idea that Zelensky’s invitation to the White House was predicated on him launching investigations into the Bidens, Burisma Holdings (where Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, sat on the board) and Crowdstrike [on 25 July, 2019, three months later]
• “On July 21, 2019, President Zelenskyy’s party won Parliamentary elections in a landslide victory. The NSC proposed that President Trump call President Zelenskyy to congratulate him”

What the heck are you talking about? Did you bother to read those links? The ICIG is legally bound to investigate and respond to certain claims within a certain period of time.

People are saying in other threads Democrats have leaked information. I don't know anything about that. One thing people do know for sure is the "call transcript" is incomplete, evidenced by ellipses throughout.
