It's like they've convinced themselves that the whistleblower is the one and only source of information and/or that if they can somehow show bias on his part, that makes everything that they've learned in the inquiry disappear.

The whistleblower is pretty irrelevant at this point.

It's part of why I've pulled back from commenting on a bunch of these threads (that, and I'm trying to let some of my warnings expire). If a person doesn't understand this point despite it having been made numerous times, then there's pretty much zero chance of having an interesting or informative discussion with them.

It does not matter if the Biden's are guilty -- if they are they should be prosecuted -- as it does not change that the President abused his office.
It does not matter if the Biden's are innocent & Viktor Shokin is lying, as it does not change that, according to unrefuted sworn witness testimony evidence (one of the strongest forms of direct evidence at Law), the former VP abused his office:
Where's your outrage? American POTUS candidates with obvious conflict-of-interest ties to corrupt foreign firms (plural, as in "pattern" plural) funneling money to their families...

no national security risk?

borders & boundaries walled, manned, staffed, patrolled, monitored, secured?

everyone go back to bunk?

...and nevermind that several, very credible witnesses, have validated the whistleblower's original complaint. In all cases, the witnesses were smeared....witnesses who have a lift time of professional service to their country.

According to all evidence known to the public, the WB's portrayal of the phone call was biased to the point of being misleading

how is that even grounds for an inquiry?

And what have they learned in the inquiry (how would you know) ?

You're wrong, but again, it doesn't matter because the IG is responsible for investigating the complaint and determining whether or not it truly represents an "urgent concern". They did investigate and they did determine that.

The IG is responsible for investigating these claims and determining their credibility.

And what have they learned in the inquiry (how would you know) ?

The ICIG has publicized the letter that they forwarded to congress:

Document: Read the Whistle-Blower Complaint

as well as another letter about the process itself:

Personal fortunes?

You mean Biden family ties to uber-wealthy Burisma & BHR ?

Or the Clintons' "unreported foreign gifts, Bill’s dinner with Kazakhstan’s autocratic president on behalf of a donor seeking lucrative mining rights" documented in Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich ?

look also at the money trail.

monies donated to Clinton (through the foundation), during the 2016 election cycle. 165,000,000 that we know of

Anything to distract from the fact that most everything in the report appears to be confirmed.

I thought the meetings and everything has been secret. Have they released everything now? I was told in another thread that there has been no leaking. Do you have all the evidence and all the transcripts and everything?

How so?

Vindman testified:
  • “I realized that if Ukraine pursued an investigation into the Bidens and Burisma, it would likely be interpreted as a partisan play which would undoubtedly result in Ukraine losing the bipartisan support has thus far maintained" [because Democrats would revoke their support for the country, thereby undermining U.S. national security]
Note: by all appearances, then, the Democrats would willingly undermine US National Security in order to protect their party and its (apparently) corrupt members
  • on April 21, 2019 “Trump expressed his desire to work with President Zelenskyy and extended an invitation to visit the White House” [which] undermines the idea that Zelensky’s invitation to the White House was predicated on him launching investigations into the Bidens, Burisma Holdings (where Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, sat on the board) and Crowdstrike [on 25 July, 2019, three months later]
  • “On July 21, 2019, President Zelenskyy’s party won Parliamentary elections in a landslide victory. The NSC proposed that President Trump call President Zelenskyy to congratulate him”

Taylor testified:
  • the Ukrainians — and the general public — didn’t know about the aid freeze until August, after the July 25 call between Trump and Zelensky
Schiff Impeachment Witness: Trump Call to Ukraine Originated from Nat'l Security Staffers

Just like VP Biden determined it truly represented an "urgent concern" to fire Shokin who was investigating the corrupt company paying his son $50,000 a month?

Is this the same IG who never investigated the foreign financial ties (plural, as in "pattern of behavior") to the Biden family? And is now trying to "Shokin President Trump" ?

What the heck are you talking about? Did you bother to read those links? The ICIG is legally bound to investigate and respond to certain claims within a certain period of time.

All of your questions, wild speculations and rantings could be answered if you just did a bit of homework.

It's not about bias -- it's about the whistleblower "accidentally" getting hit by a car or having his house burn down... that might convince other would-be witnesses that testifying against Donald could be hazardous to their health.

People are saying in other threads Democrats have leaked information. I don't know anything about that. One thing people do know for sure is the "call transcript" is incomplete, evidenced by ellipses throughout.

the same way the general public already did, by comparing the WB's summary to the actual transcript ?

So the public knew what Ciaramella said before Ciaramella said it?

Or are you mixed up about when the public read the transcript?

  • Viktor Shokin (Ukrainian citizen) tried to investigate the Bidens and some of their foreign financial ties
  • "well, SOB, he got fired"
  • President Donald Trump (US citizen) tries to investigate the Bidens and some of their foreign financial ties
I guess Mr. Biden thinks he will get another roomful of raucous laughter (Dems & foreign financiers) with the same punchline.

That would convince other would-be witnesses that testifying against the Bidens could be hazardous to their futures

Viktor Shokin & President Trump are the real whistleblowers

comparing both documents side-by-side, any reasonable (and unbiased) person would come to (and profess) the same conclusion

whether sooner (IG) or later (public)

issue here was "how with what" not "when", yes?

you acknowledge that WB requirements were modified "just in time" for this WB's complaint ?
