I honestly dont think we should do anything on earth with the motivation of "getting treasure in heaven". And creating a new church to blend in with the thousands that already exist is probably not going to do anything beneficial for you either.

Try giving a bottle of water to someone who is thristy, or sharing a meal with someone who is hungry...

Are you a pastor or an apostle? If not, God does not expect you to "create" a church.

Have you been Born Again? If you have, share with others how they, too, can be Born-Again. And find an existing church to grow in.

I think 1 Corinthians 3:11-15 is relevant to this thread.

Yes our treasures and rewards are for the good works that we have done. Of course Jesus has done a lot more for us then we are able to do for Him. Yet we still receive gifts, treasures, rewards and crowns in Heaven.

If we rescue an animal here on earth then that animal will be in Heaven. Because of our love, care & concern we have rescued an animal for all eternity. How much more should we do what we can to rescue people and then we will win the soul winners crown.

God gives us the desires of our heart so it is important that our heart is pure before God. So that He is able to give us what is good, right, proper and true.

I’m really surprised at the question he asked because he really does have a pretty good understanding of the scriptures. I won’t say that we agree on everything but he does know them pretty well.

The shape of a crown represents fire. This means we are to be refined or purified. They remove dross from silver but this is more like the stagnate water of religion becomes living water that is cleansed and purified. The symbol here is of a camel that lifts you up and carries you along on high.

"Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction." (Isaiah48:10)

In English the W in Water represents the waves. The M in mother represent the living water that we are surrounded by in the womb that shelters and protects us and gives us life. This is what the W in the word Crown represents. In Hebrew a Crown has more to do with victory in battle. In Greek Crown is associated with Stephen the first to give his life in the early church.

So we need to be Holy - Sanctified - Consecrated. Many are called but few are chosen to serve God in this way because the vessel God uses has to be Holy. They say the gifts of God are for the people of God and God will give to us what He can get through us to others. Charisma means grace and God gives us Grace each and every day to overcome and have victory in the afflictions - adversity and battles we endure.
