I am asking, have you been contacted by God WITH proofs given you through miraculous revelations? Scriptures speak of God personally revealing himself through personal contacts throughout history. And there were always miraculous revelations experienced by the people God communicated with in that personal way.

I once asked a woman soliciting donations for the pastor of a large Christian radio ministry, if that pastor had ever been personally contacted by God. The pastor's name I won't give out, but he is so famous most of you have heard of him. She, the pastor's fund raiser, got rather defensive, and said she didn't know if he had been or not, and she continued she would never ask him that question. I asked, why not? I cannot remember her answer; but I do remember I took her demeanor when responding to my question as being contrary to how people who wrote the Bible felt about the subject. If authors of scripture shared her point of view we wouldn't have scripture. They would have considered it inappropriate to share their stories.

That opinion of hers no doubt is shared by some Christians, but I know not all. Because some have shared their experiences with me, some personal, others they heard about from relatives.

The type of godly experiences I'm asking for are those contacts that give undeniable proofs to the recipient their revelation was from God or one of his spiritual messengers. The only way one could know for sure would be if godly manifestations were present, evidenced through miracles. When God contacts people he makes it extremely clear to them that there could be nothing that could have been merely coincidental, or imagined because of a medical deficiency in the recipient. How could one know? Look into scripture. God always furnishes undeniable proofs to his recipients of such messages.

Thank you in advance for your responses. And if you wonder. I have had such experiences myself. In the past.

Proof is not required for communication with God in the manner that you're describing. The proof that God communicates is thru his Holy Spirit. See Galatians 5:22-23. For instance feeling "Love, Joy, Peace" are all evidence that God communicated thru his Holy Spirit.

Miraculous revelations are another thing all together.

That other"thing all together," as you wrote in your response, is exactly what I requested readers post on this thread. Please read my post more carefully before responding, or this thread could get stuck in the muck of comments that are off topic, and fail to reveal anything close to what I asked for. I feel these type of contacts are very rare, and you may wish to discuss other things, but please don't as that defeats the purpose of this thread.

Many people experiencing such events are already extremely skeptical to share their events, because most people don't believe them, but instead most people look for an alternative explanation for those experiences which are things they know nothing about. And I expect most people to do just that, because they know nothing about such contacts from God, with the exception of those they've read in a book they were taught to accept. I feel comments like yours can drive these timid ones further into their shell.

When you state such things like, "Proof is not required for communication with God in the manner that you're requiring," you're completely wrong. Proof is exactly the thing that is required to show God communicated in the manner I speak of (just as I posted it is up top). The reason you may wish to comment about something else is because God did not share the proofs he gave to others with you. So, let those he did share proofs with tell their story.

The writer of Galatians 5:22-23 experienced those type of miraculous revelations on more than one occasion, seeing Christ was just one. Those are the type of experiences I asked for. I didn't ask for comments about scriptures such as Galatians 5:22-23, which Paul labeled the fruits of the Spirit. While the fruits of the Spirit might or might not be miraculous manifestations of God working on people, there is no proof anyones demeanor is affected by a work of God's Spirit. Some people are just more loving than others, more patient than others, more joyful than others. If this thread's purpose is still unclear to you, read the books of the prophets and also the authors of the Christian scriptures. You cannot miss the point of this thread if you are familiar with those accounts.

Thank you.

Although I do not speak or pray in tongue, there were 2 clear incidents in my life when i was filled with the Holy Spirit before i saw miracles 2 months later. The Spirit was at work and answering my prayers. However, let me say that it does not mean God always follow OT or NT way of working. The Bible describes events as they happened, but it does not mean they will repeat in the same way.

Yes. I was in a Sunday meeting with friends in their motel room. We'd come from different parts of the country to attend a friend's wedding. One of the men came by motor bike but he was suffering from excruciating pain from a bad tooth. He could not get up, let alone ride his bike. Someone said that we should pray for him. I said to myself, "God does not heal teeth". The Lord replied, "Yes, I do". immediately I had an anointing and I commanded healing for the man. He was instantly healed and was on his way not long after. I've not had the same experience before or since.

I don't know, because I didn't have your experience. But when God contacts people they definitely know it. Compare that to biblical experiences. Is there any similarity. And was there any purpose to it. God always works with a purpose in mind.

The bible is not all encompassing which is clearly demonstrated from modern sciences and medicine. But yes it's in the bible.

Not sure really. I've also been communicated with on 4 occasions in ~50 years and filled with massive amounts of peace, love.
Thanks for sharing your experience Devin. That's the type of thing I meant. Thanks again.

I have seen miracles, I have had revelations. I don't think I can claim any miraculous revelations. The times God has spoken to me do seem significantly different than my imagination etc. and I believe they are legitimate, but I don't think I can call them miraculous (what that term is suppose to mean). If you really use that term correctly/ exactly that would only really apply to a character out of the Bible and a few rare moments of history (because things like proof are more about convincing other people who have not experienced what you have e.g. - Moses being able to turn the staff into a serpent to convince the Jews he was sent by God).

Would you mind giving an example of undeniable proofs, of godly manifestations evidenced through miracles?
Undeniable proofs include being shown parts of your future in dreams, by God, that are in absolutely too much detail to be coincidental to the reality you experience once that is manifest. Dreams from God will also have a purpose that the recipient can figure out, which is related to God's purpose in some way. Undeniable proofs include seeing visions while awake, of objects that look as solid as everything appearing around them, but those objects in visions defy what we know as the laws of physics. Those visions if communication from God also reveal God's purpose, for the recipient and others. I saw my future and the future of others in God's kingdom.

In each communication God shared with me he showed me my future. In each of the communications except the first and last I was in the New World on Earth. The first dream occurred 5 years before it was fulfilled. It showed me that something was going to happen that was very bad. God gave me that dream so I would believe other dreams were given by him in answer to my prayers, because I asked him for those dreams once the terrible thing happened. The last contact included a vision while I was awake, after the dream. In that dream of my future I was in floating down to the New World while I was elevated about 40 feet above it. I was up in the sky coming down at an angle, as if I was on a real smooth and invisible escalator or conveyor belt, because I was moving while just standing up without walking, and in the air. Then I called for God's help, and as soon as I did I was immediately pulled back very quickly, at the same angle at which I was floating down. As soon as I was pulled back I woke. That's when I saw a representation of God, or his Holy Spirit, or Christ right over my chest and very close-within about 5 inches above my chest. The object moved and then lingered above the ground for about 10 seconds, as I contemplated an idea. The idea I thought was it had been giving me all those dreams. After I looked at it thinking that for about 10 seconds it shot up through the ceiling. Nothing similar has happened since then.

All incidents except the first occurred in 2009. The first occurred about 5 years before that. One of the reasons for the first dream and the final vision, while awake, was to offer the kind of proof to me that I speak of. The first dream was different than a regular dream. And it was in far too much detail for every detail to randomly come true coincidentally. It was in too much detail to logically come true because I saw too many objects that didn't even exist when I had the dream, and those objects were placed in the dream just as they would really be placed in my future, once I realized that future. Which included my future home and furniture in it, with some furnishings I didn't pick out and buy, my wife did. So I had no control over everything I would see in that future when my wife died. The dream showed me I would be living there with some of my children, in this new house, furnished just as when she died, with everything arranged just as when she died. For instance, we moved the furniture out of our dining room a month before she died, which is what I saw five years before we did it. Also, the vision that I saw while I was awake was proof God answered my prayers. The reason you cannot know the evidence offered to another is because you cannot understand the detail in which God communicated with that person, since you didn't receive the communication. A person's description of such a communication does not do justice to how God communicates with people. We read Bible accounts and assume they might have had seen some vague image in their experience. In the experiences I had I was there, just as when I am anywhere else. God saw my future and showed me the details of just parts of it. It was just as if I lived it already.

Acts chapter 2:

In the last days, God says,

I will pour out My Spirit on all people.

Your sons and daughters will prophesy,

your young men will see visions,

your old men will dream dreams.

Even on My menservants and maidservants

I will pour out My Spirit in those days,

and they will prophesy.

Thanks for your experience, but since God furnished proof to you, that was all I was asking for. God doesn't have to show anyone else what he showed you for you to experience a miracle. A miracle is defined as anything that supernaturally defies the laws of physics. God gives to each of his children things they need. No one else had to need it for God to deal with you.

Thanks again for sharing.

Thank you. I was mainly wondering if you were speaking of outward proofs, miracles that may be apparent to others. But your experiences are consistent with the testimonies of many, many others down through the centuries. It was proven to yourself in ineffable ways, that only you can know. It generally works that way.
