I seldom miss a Sunday or Bible study on Wednesday. I need to be with my brothers and sisters in Christ. I walked away for many years and I feel that the fellowship is important to keep me where I need to be.

My health hasn't been good enough lately to go, but when my health was OK I attended regularly, first I was LDS, then I switched to Catholic. I miss the Catholic church the most, it was nice to be able to kneel down with other members during service in open humility before God. They even have padding that folds down for you when you kneel :) It was like you were admitting you are a sinner compared to God by kneeling.

Just got back home from church. In general, I only miss one or two Sundays a year, and that's for things like being sick. When I travel, I usually look for a church in the town I'm visiting. (I get to visit new, interesting churches that way!)

Have a blessed service and day.

The voting so far is encouraging.

Not that encouraging as of 3 PM. It's a 2:1 ratio. I get it that some people have health issues, but that aside, I have never understood those who could go but don't bother.

I do! Over the summer I taught ppl at church how to play the piano & cello, and today 1 of the girls I gave lessons to performed!!!!!!!!! I was so proud of her I thought I was gonna explode. Music is such a lovely way to honour the Lord.

Some Catholics too. I will be going Saturday the 19th instead of Sunday the 20th.
That is after sundown, Right? A "midnight mass?"
So biblically speaking, that is Sunday.

Just curious?

Honestly, at the moment, I'm not going on a regular basis. But I'm getting to the point that I'm considering trying to find a church home, with or without the regular accompaniment of the rest of my family.

So, wish me luck as I move on out into the big ol' bad world of church shopping and still "being philosophically Me" in the midst of this or that church congregation! ^_^
