If stars were made for man to see there is no millions of years light travel time

So my best guess is that time does not exist as we know it in deep space. After all if time is not there (the same as here) then it could not take great time for light to move there.

I think Dad's trying to say that, if God made stars so man would look at them, then light would come to Earth instantly. God wouldn't make something for us to look at if we wouldn't be able to see it for so long. At least, that's my interpretation, and here's my response:

Suppose God made the light from the stars first, then drew a really long line back to the star! This is God creating, be creative with how you imagine he did it!

Well, let's assume the bible is true. Let's assume Adam saw the stars. Let's assume that took very little time to see those stars.

My OP suggested that time itself does not exist in deep space. Not time as we know it here. So light moving would not take the time it would here! After all, not like we can see time out there in any way, it is invisible.

So, in the solar system and area (where we know about and have sent probes etc) we know time unfolds/exists a certain way. In this 'fishbowl' area here we know how much time light takes to move. Not so for far space, we have no idea if or how time exists out there.

So just because we 'clock' light to move at a certain rate per certain time here, does not mean this speed limit (time zone) exists anywhere else!

Well this is just a "time" bubble we live in. And years go..did not they say TIME is NOT consent any more? You know for ME.. i love reading about this kind of stuff. But when MAN tells me whats IN SIDE the Sun and what the other Planets are really like.. based on..NEVER being there. The fact on our own planet we only went down what 7.5 miles and yet we KNOW whats going on inside.

All this means really nothing to me... what I want to hear is ALL THE NAMES that God gave for EVERY Star! HAHA WOW!

No, that is fine and tested. Look at it this way, to the nearest star, we could fit our solar system distance let's say, for an example 40 times. The only places we have ever seen and experienced time is in this little section near earth...which in this example is only 1/40 of the distance!

It is here and in this section that we see light take 8 seconds to reach earth from the sun. We have never seen or experienced time in 39 out of these forty distance units to the nearest star!

So..yes the term light year is absolutely moot. In our solar system the most we could claim is less than one light DAY! Beyond this we have no clue what time is like.

God created the universe because it's amazing, and God gets to see it, like a painter who paints for the joy of it. It's a privilege that we get to see a small part of God's art.

No, they do not know what is actually going on in the interior of the earth. It is belief based only. They, for example assume that what a seismic wave does on the surface, it also does deep inside the earth.

Yes and He made us to see it also, and even made lights in the heavens for us! He also will rule with us, so we have a great part to play.

How would you know creation was a fantasy? If the stars were created for us to see, then we can rule out millions of years travel TIME right away. As for science, it has no clue whatsoever either way what time itself is like out there..only here.

If there were no time or different time out there, then perhaps light could travel the universe in precious little time. The only slow down would be when it got here. We have a speed limit for light here in our town.

This refers to how far away one celestial body is from another - in this case a star from Earth. If the OP is talking about travel time for light rays to reach Earth's atmosphere, that is only eight minutes from our sun.
