Ephesians 1:3: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places".

Does the above verse say God has already blessed us according to His eternal thereby unchanging plan & purpose in Christ's sacrifice, even before we could think of praying?

Do we pray with "faith" knowing He has already blessed us in Christ OR do we pray "expecting" Him to create blessings everytime we pray?

Do we pray to change God's eternal and thereby unchanging plan OR our prayers simply reflect our God-given faith in His unchanging plan & purpose to be favorable to us?

So tell us what you believe. I think we have a right to know what you consider to be the truth.

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
1 Peter 3:15

Ok...give us the answer. I mean an answer not a question. lol :)

The closest answer is "none of the above". And before you throw up your hands, let me explain.

First of all, we have to remember that while we are going through Life under the constraints of linear Time, that God is the Creator of Time, and thus He is not bound by it.

What that means is that no, we cannot "change " God's plan for us, but we can come into agreement to be led by Him, and also to discover the wisdom, the love, and the good examples that He has placed into our lives by His mercy and His grace.

Because God is outside of Time, He knows both the problems and struggles that we will be presented with in our lives.

And so because He has that knowledge, He can and does place into our lives things to help us, people to guide us on our way, and also an alternative pathway away from those problems and struggles that we can choose to take.

There is also the other possibility that there will be random problems and struggles that we are presented with in life that come to us as the result of other people's actions against us.
This is a different category, but God also works in these situations.

Sometimes these things simply come to us because the end of our allotted time on this Earth is at hand, and God in His mercy is easing us towards our final days.

Other times, these things happen because God in His mercy is sparing us from going thru something even more disastrous or upsetting down the road of Life that we would find ourselves right in the middle of, and with no way out.

And lastly, sometimes we are simply on the wrong path.
When that happens, God can use/direct other people to say a right word to us, or if we are stubborn and prideful, to forcibly correct our direction into another pathway.

There are multiple examples of these times in the OT. Every time there is a directional change in an individual's life (or a change directed towards a collective group of people) you will always see God's hand moving in and directing the course of that change.

The Parable of the Good Shepherd would be an excellent example of this last situation, which can also be observed in the Great Flood, The Exodus, various historic persecutions, etc.

You can see and understand these kinds of times more easily when you view them as "forks in the road."

So to answer your question above, the best prayer to make to God all your whole life long is the same one that Jesus said in the Garden of Gethsemane, and His last prayer when He was on the cross:
"Thy will be done".

Those 4 words are in accord with WOF, and they will also provide you with the best of God's guidance and His provision for your life.

May God bless you!

Do you believe His eternal & thereby unchanging will, plan & purpose is favorable to grant your prayers (Mark 11:24:"whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours")?

Does God always or often has a will our prayers?

God has a plan or will for Jesus to die and atone for our sins, that is true. The Lord knew, of course, and amid the fear, He prayed "Not my will, but Thy will be done." However, does God always has a will for our prayers? If He doesn't, would it explain why many Christians could not know God's will even though we try so hard?

Apostle John said "if we pray in His will, He hears us." This verse has been seen as a how-to-pray verse so that God will answer, but it hasn't bring forth the results hoped for. However, in context, John was saying that it is God's will for us to love one another and to pray for those who sin. It is not about how to pray to get answers.

If not all prayers are granted, then what does "ask and you will receive" mean? I used to stare at prayer verses, trying to figure out whar they mean. Unable to comprehend nitially, i would leave them for a while and come back to read them again, hoping for fresh perspectives. Tbis went on for tbree years, and one day, I realized what the Lord was saying, what He wanted us to know. It is not what the words say, but what He wanted us to understand. What i learned, i shared in a book, 'Understanding Prayer, Faith and God' s Will'.

Of course!

Do we pray with "faith" knowing He has already blessed us in Christ OR do we pray "expecting" Him to create blessings everytime we pray?

The first half is correct! As far as your second half. God doesn't have to create anything (any more) to meet our needs. Already done. Everything that you, me, Tom, Dick, or Harry, or even Runaround Sue... (anyone) will ever need in this life has already been provided. My favorite Word of Faith quote, "I believe I receive, when I pray (Mark 11:24)

Do we pray to change God's eternal and thereby unchanging plan OR our prayers simply reflect our God-given faith in His unchanging plan & purpose to be favorable to us?

His amazing Grace... how sweet the sound... unearned, undeserved, and unmerited (favor).

Even though we know that His Word is His will. This verse in (1 John 5:14) is the proper and the necessary qualifier in all prayer. God has not promised to grant anything and everything that shall be contrary to his will, and it could not be right that he should do it. If He did we would all be in trouble. We ought not to wish to receive anything that would be contrary to what he judges to be best for us even though the end result may appear like nothing is happening.

(1 John 5:14) And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us:
Blessings on your book...

Do you have faith God has granted your prayers according to Mark 11:24 & will manifest in His time?

Does God always or often has a will our prayers?

If God doesn't have an eternal plan & purpose for all prayers why would He know our prayers & words before we pray as in, "for your Father knows what you need before you ask him (Mathew 6:8)" & Psalms 139:4?

many Christians could not know God's will even though we try so hard?

Is that why the Spirit prays on our behalf as He know God's will (Romans 8:27)? Is that why God says we don't know how we ought to pray (Rom 8:26)?

For Adam & Eve, was being unclothed God's will before they had the knowledge of good and evil & being clothed His will after they started to have the knowledge of good & evil by eating the forbidden fruit?

Did God's will change with regard to the presence and absence of the knowledge of good & evil?

So tell us what you believe. I think we have a right to know what you consider to be the truth.

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

So are you saying you don't understand the basic concept of God's perfect will as compared to his permissive will?

What is the basic difference between the perfect will and permissive will in the matter of Adam & Eve being unclothed before they had the knowledge of good & evil and they being clothed after they had the knowledge of good & evil?

If God doesn't have an eternal plan & purpose for all prayers why would He know our prayers & words before we pray as in, "for your Father knows what you need before you ask him (Mathew 6:8)" & Psalms 139:4?

Is that why the Spirit prays on our behalf as He know God's will (Romans 8:27)? Is that why God says we don't know how we ought to pray (Rom 8:26)?

Do I have faith that God has granted my prayer in his will and time? Yes, there have been milestones in prayers answered, which have helped me to keep faith.

God does not need to consciously plan for us in advance, He just need to know what is going to happen ahead of time. I will add that God is not trying to manouvre us at every turn, instead He guides us at certain times. Many people have this misconception about His will, that He has mapped out our lives and we have to figure it out. But it isn't so. We have free will and at certain points, the Lord guides us.

Your third question: Do we need Holy Spirit intervention in our prayer? During the apostles time, God was trying to establish the church, and He poured out His Spirit abundantly. This explains the many miracles, healings and speaking in tongues at that time. And Christians back then needed the Spirit to do God's work and endure persecution. By knowing the situation back then, we can appreciate what is praying in the Spirit. It is not a method of prayer to get answers in the way some Christians advocate today.

So your faith is "after" He has granted your prayers & not when you pray?

We have free will and at certain points, the Lord guides us.

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13)”.
1) Without God giving the will & action, can you do anything?

2) If God has no eternal plan & purpose for human history, why does He give the will & action to accomplish what pleases Him?

And Christians back then needed the Spirit to do God's work

Is it pride to refuse & deny the Spirit's help in doing God's work?

Regarding Adam & Eve, was it God's will to be unclothed before they had the knowledge of good and evil?

Was it God's will to be clothed after they started to have the knowledge of good & evil?

Was God's will different for them before and after they had the knowledge of good and evil?
