Then there is this

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko denied reports that President Trump pressured Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky during a July phone call that is reportedly the subject of a whistleblower complaint.

Got this feeling that this is going to blow up in someone’s face.

Again.

Personally I think this happening repeatedly is part of what will help a second term. People are not stupid and you can yell wolf so many times.

People are beginning to just not listen to it anymore.

The CNN article referred to by the OP says:
CNN said:
The whistleblower didn't have direct knowledge of the communications, an official briefed on the matter told CNN. Instead, the whistleblower's concerns came in part from learning information that was not obtained during the course of their work, and those details have played a role in the administration's determination that the complaint didn't fit the reporting requirements under the intelligence whistleblower law, the official said.

However, IG Atkinson found the matter both urgent and credible - enough to warrant a thorough investigation by Congress.

People are beginning to just not listen to it anymore.
People who stick their fingers in their ears tend not to hear much.

The whistleblower who filed a complaint with the intelligence community inspector general did not have direct knowledge of the communications between President Trump and the foreign leader in question.

Whistleblower 'didn’t have direct knowledge of the communications' between Trump and Ukraine

All this is based of something that they heard from someone. No direct knowledge.
Respectfully your thread is, shall I say, somewhat presumptuous to call it a rumor. As explained in the reports, it's important to understand that in a whistle blower complaint, it's the Inspector General that looks into it and determines whether it is credible and/or urgent. In this case it is reported that he has determined it to be both credible and urgent.

Not only this, but Trump and Giuliani have already pretty much confirmed the reports.

Are you speaking for other people or have you been following every accusation?

Is that why Paul Manafort is in prison?

Why would you even bother to defend him, if you don't care if he's crooked or not? Is it to fool us or fool yourself?

I haven't been disappointed in the way the obstruction of justice and campaign finance violation allegations have played out even if he's currently shielded from prosecution.

Nixon wasn't shielded from being investigated for the Watergate scandal while he was the President and Trump shouldn't be shielded from being investigated while he's still the President either. But if he manages to avoid being impeached, then he could possibly face some criminal charges when he's out of office. He could face some hefty federal charges, as well as face criminal charges in New York.

The 5 crimes Mueller suggests Trump could be charged with

Mueller: Trump could be charged with obstruction of justice after leaving office

Here come the New York State criminal charges against the Trump Organization

I believe @essentialsaltes was too subtle in pointing out this morning's feast of irony:

So to be clear:

The whistleblower who filed a complaint with the intelligence community inspector general did not have direct knowledge of the communications between President Trump and the foreign leader in question

Whistleblower 'didn’t have direct knowledge of the communications' between Trump and Ukraine

All this is based of something that they heard from someone. No direct knowledge.

This is a bad thing, right? Claiming knowledge of something gained as hearsay

Then there is this

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko denied reports that President Trump pressured Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky during a July phone call that is reportedly the subject of a whistleblower complaint.

So the foreign minister wasn't on that call either, but this apparently is a good thing, right? Claiming knowledge of something gained as hearsay.

I think this trend of the American right to disbelieve what their countrymen say and believe what people from foreign countries say will lead to interesting times.

Well...I can't speak for everyone but I'M not disappointed, investigating the allegations has done what investigations should do: provide answers. Right or wrong, knowing the truth is better then not knowing the truth.

Point of interest here -

This President spends an average of 20 to 90 min with the press on a consistent basis; answering a wide variety of questions - never uses notes or a teleprompter - and the narrative of his inability to speak is used consistently.

While his predecessor seldom spoke without teleprompter and often turned his back or just waved at the press as he left the White House is somehow an eloquent speaker.

go figure.
Donald uses the same 50 words on a loop. Not an eloquent man.
