So . . . Time and again, I have heard evangelists and preachers assure the unbeliever that, "God has a wonderful plan for YOUR life!"

1. Upon what biblical text do they base this promise to the not-yet-believing person?

2. Often the offer is rejected. Does this mean that, in those cases, God's plan just doesn't work out?

Before God created humanity he planned out the lives of everyone who has walked or will walk this earth. For those who he foreknew would accept him he planned out the good works of their lives, their obedience, and ways that he could strengthen them to prepare them for their eternity with him (see ephesians 1:4-5 & Jeremiah 29:11)

For those who he foreknew would NOT accept him he planned their prosperity and ways to bring into their lives as much as possible ways for them to accept him. And yes, hs also planned works for them to do as well. There isn't virtually a single person who has ever lived who hasn't been given several opportunities to accept Christ and it is THEIR fault when God has to punish them in the end. (Proverbs 16:9 isaiah 58:11)

I suppose that's long enough.

1. There is ZERO biblical warrant to assure an unbeliever the God has a wonderful plan for their life.

2. God's plan will certainly play out for each and every person including believers and unbelievers.

I didnt say wonderful but I did mean plan yes. God made plans for all of humanity and during those plans and he tries to bring all of the ungodly people yo repentance and to accept him so that he can say on the last day "I literally did all I could to save you. It's only your fault that I now have to punish you." And plans for the believers so that he can say to them "Well done my good and faithful servant. Enter the kingdom that was prepared for you since before I formed the world."

2 Timothy 2:24-26. Theres also what Christ says in Rev 3:20.

Then again scripture also says that he blinds the minds of unbelievers as well and both cant be true. See 2 Corinthians 4:4. Both views are kinda taught in scripture.
