Some people did something,’ said a freshman congresswoman from Minnesota to support and justify the creation of CAIR [the Council on American-Islamic Relations]. Today I am here to respond to you, exactly who did what to whom.

Madam, objectively speaking, we know who and what was done, there is no uncertainty about that. Why your confusion? On that day 19 Islamic terrorist members of al Qaeda killed over 3,000 people and caused billions of dollars of economic damage. Is that clear?”

CAIR was formed June 1994. But since when did any of the Squad let reality or facts get in the way of their storytelling. They all probably shook their heads in agreement when Biden said he favored truth over facts. Mainly because facts contradict their version of the truth.

In what way or form was the establisment date of CAIR falsely presented by the "Squad" ?

Congresswoman Omar in a speech a couple of years ago pretty much implied that CAIR was established in response to the backlash against Muslims after the September 11 attacks.

Omar mistakenly made that statement during the speech at a CAIR event that has become the center of so much misguided attention when the comments are put in context.

So I finally looked up her actual comments because I had to see why she would say something so inconsiderate towards an event that affected pretty much every American to their core, and to no surprise, found that in context, she’s actually not trying to diminish what happened on 9/11 to just “some people did something.” Her statement could have been worded better, I think, but the point of what she was saying was that Muslims shouldn’t be treated like second class citizens in their own country and they shouldn’t feel guilty because of the actions of a few working in their name.

It’s really no different than when white people say they don’t or shouldn’t feel guilty for slavery, or mass shootings, or racism. And I agree with them.

Again, I don’t agree with how she worded it, but I can’t disagree with her overall point of treating people as individuals and not automatically implicating them for someone else’s actions.

I really feel for the 9/11 victim’s son but we should not be using the memory of that event to throw jabs at our political opponents. 9/11 should be the one day we’re all able to put our pettiness aside and not focus on each other’s politics.

Because interrupting a memorial is acceptable when you are doing it to give a partisan screed.

Apparently this man has a habit of using the 9/11 Memorial to take political jabs at Democrats. He attacked Democrats last year during the September 11th memorial service too. During his speech last year, he accused Democrats of using the anniversary of 9/11 for "political theater," but that's basically what he's doing by taking angry political jabs at Democrats during his speeches at the 9/11 memorial.

Here's a short article excerpt: In 2018, Haros went after Democrats and the media for using the anniversary of 9/11 for "political theater" and accused them of using victims as "props."

Apparently, having a loved one killed in a tragedy doesn't immunize a person from misinterpreting and mischaracterizing the comments of someone else.

I wonder if he ever criticized the W administration for the 9/11-themed political theater used to justify the war in Iraq.
