Welcome, Humbly. NIV or KJV say basically the same thing. KJV uses archaic or obsolete language which is easily misunderstood in today's english-speaking world. Both and many more are viable means of receiving the Gospel message and studying God and becoming a honorable follower bringing glory and honor to God, our Father and Savior, in my opinion. I was saved through the study of a "Good News for Modern Man." I pefer NIV and have for most of my Christian life BUT Romans 14 and 1st paragraph of Romans 15 says it all about how or which way one chooses to honor and glorify the Lord. Welcome.
