A video that looks into the mystery of how the Church is the Bride of Christ
Impressive and edifying. But....please! Lord Jesus is declared to be the Last Adam and the Second Man. He is the Last Adam because He fulfilled every righteous requirement of God, whereas Adam failed dismally. There is no need for another Adam. He is the Second Man because He heads up a whole new race of beings, human, yet partakers of the divine nature. They are the real Christians, the born again.

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God." (Romans 8:14)
The Bible states that the Lord Jesus is the Last Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45). God had a reason for stating that. We need look no further than the Lord Jesus for the restoration of mankind to the exalted place in Creation that God intended for Adam. He is the Second Man, the reply to those who deny the bodily resurrection of Christ.Hi Aussie Pete
In the OT we find "Jacob" as a single person and also as the nation. Israel is Jacob but also is his corporate body. The same applies to Adam - the second Adam is a corporate body (nation).
Yes, Jesus is the second Adam - just as Jacob was Jacob and the nation that was his corporate body. We are the body of Christ. The Bible states that the Lord Jesus is the Last Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45). God had a reason for stating that.
