What does the Bible say about dligently using and managing the resources God has entrusted to us?

It doesn't but because it is His handiwork, and because it was given to keep us alive (i.e. the air we breath, food we eat, water we drink) then it shouldn't be worshiped but it should be cared for. We don't do a good job of that.
