Everyone seems to be taking this as I said all Protestants which I did not. I said it was only found within protestantism/evangelical spheres, not that all protestant and evangelical churches have the same practices. Since there are around 10,000 different evangelical denoms it would be ridiculous for me no make such a conclusion.

I did not say that.

Penecostals use the phrase "born again." They use it along with "baptism of the Holy Spirit." It is Biblical.
I know it is biblical, but we do not believe in once saved always saved, so it doesn't really apply in the same way to us.

So you think "born again" necessarily means once saved always saved, like we can't die again?

Really? When in scripture are anyone but new believers baptized? It's either new believers or new believers and their families.
I wonder if their families include infants.

No. That would be the implication of once saved always saved from the evangelical view, that once you accept Christ you are saved no matter what you choose to do, which I reject as does both the RCC and EOC. Once must keep in faith and be in repentance to maintain their salvation. For children however that works slightly differently.

Haha. No one created and wrote it. The creed is what was decided at the Council of Nicea which affirmed what the Bible stated.

ETA: Interesting that its opposition was a priest named Arius who didn't want Jesus included. It became Arianism which a form is taught by JW and Mormons today.

What do you mean no one created and wrote it? It has been modified several times, and was decided and written by the Bishops of the council under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I'm not sure what you are trying to imply.

Well, this has been argued to death around here, but suffice it to say here that you are mistaken about the implications of that expression. And it is the people who accept it and use it who ought to know.

Oh really? Because I used to be a Southern Baptist, and I had the view drilled into my head for 20 years until I went to seminary. So why don't you tell me exactly how I am mistaken about OSAS?

Wondering is a poor way to form doctrine. Instead, why not go with what is sure, that new believers get baptized as a public testimony after salvation.
Mostly because that approach has no similarity to how the faith has been practiced through the millennia.

That is not the belief actually. The point of Baptizing Children originally was so that they could commune from infancy. For some reason the RCC decided to stop this practice and wait until the teens to start communing kids. In the EOC we still commune babies since we consider it to be the strength of the believers and is how we believe children are saved if they die. Baptism only rebirths and gives a child a new life within the Church
Chapter and verse, please. I'm pretty sure I never read anything in the Bible about baptism "communing" children, whatever that is.

Faith has been practiced in a multitude of ways though the millennia. The only way to know for sure if you're doing it correctly is the Biblical text, not mere tradition.

It is the same for both children and adults. Your age does not affect when or if you lose your salvation.

The way to be sure is read what Jesus and the apostoles told the Pharisees. They told them to spread the Good News and be baptized in that order. Therefore, Scripture is clear that believers should be baptized.

Nicene Creed originally did NOT have the filioque.

It is carved on steps of Vatican sans filioque.

The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father.

I didn't even get into finishing my discussion with thecolorsblend and you bring up filioque. Let us pray.

I just can't even...

Don't take out of context to quote mine. Get thee to penance. The council put together what the Bible said, i.e. God vs. the opposition eliminating Jesus. And do you continue to use Drake mimes? I am a Warriors fan. The Raptors would have lost if we were healthy. Get thee to ten full cycles of the stations of the cross.
