hello I wonder if I have done the unforgivable sin. I wanted to say I love the holy spirit but I said I love my holy spirit. I said it more ignorantly and accidentally because now I no longer know exactly how and what I said it and whether I really said it or thought it. I had read somewhere that the unforgivable sin is to claim that you are god or are better of god. I am now a little worried that I have done the unforgivable sin and I really do not want that I love God I love Jesus and the holy spirit. it seems like I said it in a disastrous and accidental way and I didn't mean it. I really love god so much. and i would never really believe that i am better than god.

Yes I really love him I also have ocd so I did not do it?
It is quite common for people with OCD to get distressing thoughts, often with religious themes. The thoughts will bother you, but they will not harm you. If you love Jesus and have put your faith in him, you have nothing to fear. You are deeply loved and abundantly forgiven.

No you didn't.
Thank you so much I feel so much better now. I was almost going to cry I really want to get in heaven so this is a big deal for me. I know I'm saved because jesus payed my sins on the cross and I accept that. But I was so scared I dropped it all

There is an ocd sub forum on CF and the Unpardonable Sin seems to be a recurring theme among people with OCD. I saw an identical thread just last week. My understanding is the unpardonable/unforgivable sin is denying Jesus as your savior and passing away in that state.

No ... you did not commit the unforgivable sin.

If you love Jesus, ... you are unable to commit the unforgivable sin.

? But do you have a answer on my question
My understanding is the unpardonable/unforgivable sin is denying Jesus as your savior and passing away in that state. You are alive and still in the game, so to speak. Our brains are thought producing organs and yours is producing an inordinate amount of thoughts about this specific sin. You have to find a way to change the channel on those repetitive thoughts.

Look at the role of the Holy Spirit.
He is our Helper, who will teach us all things and bring to our remembrance all the things Jesus said to us (John 14:25-26).
He teaches us who Jesus really is and guides us into all truth. He glories Jesus (John 16:12-14).
He works with us to make us aware of sin in our lives (John 16:8).
He produces fruit in our lives (Galatians 5:22-23) - joy, love, peace, patience, kindness, self-control, faithfulness, gentleness.
If a person loves Jesus, has a desire to repent of their sin, seek his forgiveness, to follow Him and to live a faithful and obedient life, it is evidence that the Holy Spirit is dwelling in them and that they have not committed the unforgivable sin.
