Following back to back gun massacres that left 31 dead in Texas and Ohio, Bishop Mark Seitz of El Paso said it was "appropriate" for President Donald Trump to call out the white supremacy that motivated the Texas shooting, but said the president must also examine his own rhetoric in the matter.

How about the Dayton terrorist? Reports are conforming the he was in fact a leftwing extremist with a explicit distaste for president Trump.
This campaign against the President is getting so obvious...

Reminds me of how we (the world) apparently had a big problem (mainly) with right wing extremists after the Christchurch tragedy. The world focused one hundred percent on that even though a lot more Christian's died that previous weekend in moslem attacks in Nigeria.
Again it's getting way to obvious for those of us who's awake and paying attention...

I was just watching a left wing mob outside Senator Mitch McConnells house screaming obscenities. One yelled “stab him in the heart” Another screamed “cut his throat”. Yet this is deemed ok my the main stream media.

Maxine Waters and Cory Booker have publicly told supporters to confront and harass Trump supporters and Republicans. These are veiled calls for violence.

White poor and middles class were called deplorables by Hillary Clinton.

President Obama called whites bitter clingers meanings those who cling to their guns and bibles.

The president clearly and unequivocally condemned the recent violence yet the liar politicians scream white nationalist and racist. Clearly lies.

Make no mistake they are trying to divide the country .

Where is the good Bishop on when it comes to theses issues?

Bad things are coming to this country. We need to pray.

Are we allowed to call on the bishop to "examine himself" on the tacit acceptance of illegal immigration in exchange for swelling their membership rolls and offering more financial contributions?

No?

Didn't think so.

Some of us saw this coming years ago. I, at least, was hoping cooler heads will prevail.

But it doesn't seem like the two sides are even interested in talking to each other anymore. I fear things might get very ugly indeed.

I can remember the bare knuckles politics growing up in Boston . There would even be fistfights but we never hated each other. We came from the same neighborhood and drank at the same bars.

Today is different. The hatred is palpable.

It's turned into a cult imo.

You put it better than I could. I have always thought that some of these bishops conform their opinions to those of the world. I find it very discouraging.
That's another thing that bothers me, that is that no one has any courage to say this is what i believe. They either cow tow to the woke police and/or in the next breath they are "walking back" the things they said just a day before.

The back bone of a wet noodle.

Yes and by doing so they're useless to the faithful.

I wouldn't mind the bishops being such busy-bodies about illegal immigration if they at least stood up as forcefully for marriage, the unborn and other actually infallible teachings of the Church. I wouldn't be happy about that, you understand, but at least I could respect them because they're taking care of business on everything else.

But some of these bishops really do come off like progressive activists in cassocks. They never seem to have time to explain why unborn life is sacred but they'll talk your ear off about "accepting the outsider" or some such nonsense.

There are some that only speak according to the headlines. Little is said about the Faith anymore.

Yeah the media has completely hushed about the Dayton shooter because he collapses their entire argument. So all their focus is on the shooters in El Paso and Gilroy.

even though a lot more Christian's died that previous weekend in moslem attacks in Nigeria.

Oh you mean "Easter worshippers"? See I didn't recognize the term since the media rebranded us all to avoid the association of Christian persecution in our psyches. (I'm only sort of kidding)

They tie themselves in a Windsor knot to avoid even remotely skimming language that sows reasonable doubt into their narrative. "Christians are getting slaughtered by anti-religious socialists? Well that just won't do, make sure to shred that one so it doesn't make it into the evening rundown!" *Hands wire report to crunchy uninformed college intern with purple hair and bullring.*
