He is reportedly a Democrat and a fan of Socialism...but that doesn't fit the Beto/Biden/Booker narrative, so they and the rest lose their righteous indignation in a flash.
I thought the narrative was that guns are the problem. How do his political leanings change that at all?

More today about the shooter:
Man who drove with Dayton mass shooter and sister before massacre was his best friend - who Connor Betts then shot and is now cops' best hope of finding motive for murders

- The man who drove to Dayton with Connor Betts before his mass shooting can be revealed as Charles 'Chace' Beard, 24, the gunman's best friend
- Beard was shot and critically wounded outside the Ned Peppers Bar - where Betts also gunned down his own sister Megan
- The three had driven from their family homes in Dayton suburb of Bellbrook to the Oregon District before Betts' mass shooting early Sunday morning
- Beard and Megan are not believed to be romantically involved; he is said to be in a relationship with another woman but was friends with Betts at high school
- Confusingly, Beard was also on 'kill list' of targets he drew up when he was at the school
- Revelation will deepen mystery over motive for Betts' mass shooting, which cops do not believe was linked to the El Paso shooting the previous day
- Beard will be key witness but it is unclear if he has been able to help police yet; his parents spoke to officers Monday

Bernie supporter shoots congressman. No connection to Bernie

Antifa supporter pro Democratic supporter shoots crowd No connection to Democrats

A person who doesn’t even mention the President - the President is responsible.

And people actually believe this.

Lol. He literally used the exact words we’ve been hearing from the president over the past 3 years.

Who else has been referring to and calling the migrants from the South an “invasion”?

I’d like for the OP to make the connection between the killer’s politics and the people he attacked.

Otherwise this thread comes across as trying to apply a motive we’re not yet aware of and implicate democratic politics (and their adherents) as being the reason for the shooting.

You know, GoldenBoy89, you're totally ruining the very apparent narrative of this thread to take a disingenuous political potshot at Democrats when you post actual facts like that. You should stop.

That's optimistic of you. Good luck with that.

Exactly.

I know... I’m such a killjoy!

I suppose now that the right has joined in, avoiding the politicization of these tragedies has gone out the window.

That's very optimistic of you. Good luck with that.
Hey, I’m fair. If they can make that connection, they’re more than welcome to show me how.

As you can clearly see from all the articles I posted in my previous post, there's no connection whatsoever between Trump's INVASION rhetoric to the shooter's reference to an INVASION. o_O

Probably because Bernie doesnt encourage racism , hate and violence like Trump does.

Do you mean to say that Bernie, the advocate for Socialism, was NOT "directly responsible" for the Dayton shootings committed by a professed admirer of Socialism?? Then how can Trump be responsible for the El Paso shootings--even though all the leading candidates for the Democratic nomination have said he is???

Hmm. Socialism, the Soviet Union, Cuba, etc. not violent and hate-oriented. It's an interesting fantasy, all right.

Yes, Trump does encourage racism, hate and violence through his speeches and actions: (1) "Knock the crap out of them and I'll pay your legal fees!" (source), (2) suggesting the "Second Amendment People" could act against Hillary if she got elected (source), (3) "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Ave. and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose any voters" (source), and (4) all the other hateful and vicious insults that he has spewed out of his mouth toward the people he obviously despises.

Nobody has a clue as to the motive of the Dayton shooter. It could have something to do with political motives, or completely apolitical. Fact.

El Paso shooter, wrote a manifesto with a complete and detailed reason/motive. The manifesto echoed much of what the President has said repeatedly. Not only that, but the most direct reason the shooter stated for doing it is what the President has said repeatedly. This is not a case where the Presidents word was taken way out of context. The President does bear some (not all) responsibility for El Paso.

With that said, @hislegacy and @Albion , get back to us when we find a manifesto from the Dayton shooter, or any clear cut reason that the motive was to promote socialism and further a political agenda.

If so, we have even less evidence about the motives of the El Paso shooter, and yet look at the unhinged responses that came almost immediately from the people running for the presidency and so desperate for air time on the evening news that they'll say almost anything to get it.
