It's sad, based on the question being asked so often, in free places where denomination leaders we are afraid of will not know about our questions, that two thousand odd years after the Gospel was first preached, the foundation blocks of Christianity has still not been conclusively clarified.

As a result:

  1. What is promised isn't certain
  2. What we received isn't seen
  3. What we commit isn't made aware of

It's almost like the story of the Emperor's new clothes, except that the ones who made the clothes are themselves fooled.

The Gospel isn't directly described in Scripture. It has to be interpreted.

Lol wut?

That's not the interpretation. That's the material to be interpreted. Maybe you should read my post in faith and obedience
That’s Paul defining the gospel.

He is giving an example of the OUTWORKING of the Gospel.
No, he’s not.

Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. For (because) I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
— 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

Exactly. This is the greatest OUTWORKING of the Kingdom. Yet Israel did not understand.

Psalms 106
7Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Your wonders;

Could you summarize the gospel in one sentence?
Galatians 3
13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON ATREE”— 14in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Those are Paul's words not interpretation. Many are not able to bear the truth.... and God is good enough to not put more on us than we can bear......
Absolutely right. Faith is HARD. His sheep are exposed to what must be committed to in gradual steps.

Hard to argue with that. But this doesn't seem to jive with what else you're saying on this thread.

I've recently posted the process. However, let's step through it slowly, with different examples.

Do you agree that God was the source of the problems Abraham faced?

What is the gospel?
Who needs to hear it?
How often does it need to be heard?

- The kingdom is here and forgivness of sins is offered everyone?
- Unbelievers?
- At least once?

What was the gospel that the apostles preached before Jesus crucifixion? Was it the same gospel? Another gospel?

Matt 4
23 Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.

So who caused the famine?

Genesis 12
10Now there was a famine in the land; so Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was severe in the land.

And who was responsible for the food shortage that was faced in the Exodus?
