The 51st State of the USA will be~~

For all practical purposes Israel is America’s 51st State. The US gives Israel 10’s of $billions of dollars each year and yet American Citizen’s did not vote for this.

What’s up?

I think it is time for a national vote on this.

Either we bring in Israel as our 51st State and they pay their fair share or we stop the $billions in handouts.

We have a number of territories that would qualify for statehood first. Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, Marianna Islands. If we had some Congressional representation from these small island territories, all desperately endangered by climate change, we could perhaps have enough congressional support to reinstate all of the environmental policies overturned by Trump's executive orders (legally or illegally or pending before the courts, who knows?)

the entire NT works at deconstructing this idea that Israel means ethnic Jews limited to a geographical area until Revelation comes up then all of a sudden it's literal and this means we must protect and serve the literal nation of Israel no matter what the cost.

Taiwan could have been a US State.

Taiwan belonged to Japan for 50 years by WW2. After America defeated Japan in WW2, America forced Japan to give Taiwan back to China. Not many people in Taiwan actually wanted that result.

America could have taken Taiwan for itself and made it a state. Then my wife could become the first woman president of America!

Yeah, um, it's already the State of Israel, so there you go; but our white 5-point stars don't work for them 'cause they're very particular about a 6-pointed blue one, soo...

When I was born we just had 48 stars on the big flag and 13 on the little flag. They since added 2 stars to the big one and took our little one away from us altogether ('cause of the #13, I'm pretty sure). I always thought Puerto Rico would be our 51st State, and they have their own star and can bring us 5 extra stripes; but now my thinking is that our 51st State will come from a split of one of the States we already got - probably progressive California, the 2-halves of Idaho (no, not I de ho), the State of Chicago, or turning Washington DC into the 51st State. Splitting States is actually how many of our states were formed. Los Angeles would otherwise be part of Georgia.
