You proved nothing. Just because Nero was the 6th king and died in 68 AD doesn't prove he wasn't the beast. What in scripture says the beast would live through the whole thing?

Everything said about the beast. In Rev the beast survives unto the second coming. Nero lived when John was alive and John said the AC was yet to come and didn't exist yet...so that rules out Nero.

No. That's what you think, because you think Revelation 19 is the second coming. Yet Revelation 19:2 says it is the judgment of the great harlot, which is apostate Jerusalem.

The second coming is depicted in Rev 19:11 forward.

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Rev 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Rev 19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
Rev 19:18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Rev 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

I see...so ignore everything before verse 11...right?

Ok. Revelation starts with the judgement of the great harlot, which is Jerusalem in AD 70. In vs 1-6.

The great harlot is Babylon not Jerusalem and nothing in Revelation is about AD70.

Rev 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great harlot that sitteth upon many waters:
Rev 17:2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
Rev 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Well obviously you're not considering all the wickedness of Jerusalem/Israel after they made the covenant with God. You have to recall scripture as you read scripture. Take a look at Revelation 17:4:
4 The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her immorality,

Ever realize that description fits what God told them to make the tabernacle of...and later the temple? John is giving you the clue but you can't see it.

Now....notice Jeremiah 3:1-5
God says, “If a husband divorces his wife And she goes from him And belongs to another man, Will he still return to her? Will not that land be completely polluted? But you are a harlot with many lovers;
Yet you turn to Me,” declares the Lord.
2 “Lift up your eyes to the bare heights and see; Where have you not been violated? By the roads you have sat for them Like an Arab in the desert, And you have polluted a land With your harlotry and with your wickedness.
3 “Therefore the showers have been withheld, And there has been no spring rain. Yet you had a harlot’s forehead; You refused to be ashamed.
4 “Have you not just now called to Me, ‘My Father, You are the friend of my youth?
5 ‘Will He be angry forever? Will He be indignant to the end?’ Behold, you have spoken And have done evil things, And you have had your way.”

Jeremiah nails it down too. If you need more read Ezekiel 16.

Revelation is speaking of Jerusalem/Israel.

This is what God told Moses Israel would do before they even went into the promised land...Deuteronomy 31:14-16
14 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, the time for you to die is near; call Joshua, and present yourselves at the tent of meeting, that I may commission him.” So Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves at the tent of meeting.
15 The Lord appeared in the tent in a pillar of cloud, and the pillar of cloud stood at the doorway of the tent.
16 The Lord said to Moses, “Behold, you are about to lie down with your fathers; and this people will arise and play the harlot with the strange gods of the land, into the midst of which they are going, and will forsake Me and break My covenant which I have made with them.

That's what Jesus' judgement is for...the crucifixion of Christ and the many times Jerusalem/Israel played the harlot...and that's why it's written on the forehead!
Look up Babylon and see what it means.

1st century Jerusalem and it's priesthood became as bad or worst than any gentile nations around them
I view 1st century Jerusalem in Revelation.......

1.3.4. Babylon is Jerusalem Commentary - A Testimony of Jesus Christ

Some preterist interpreters, such as Chilton, believe that Babylon is a code name for Jerusalem:1

The primary thrust of the prophecy has been directed against Jerusalem . . . John gives us no indication that the subject has been changed. As we shall see in Chapters 17 and 18, the evidence that the prophetic Babylon was Jerusalem is nothing short of overwhelming.2....................

Reve 18:16 "woe! woe! the great City arrayed with fine linen, purple

Revelation 18 is an interesting and revealing chapter that describes a cargo of fine linen and purple and is also arrayed in fine linen and purple:

The Great City/Harlot/Queen Revelation chapts 17-19

Revelation 18:
11 And the Merchants of the land are lamenting<2799> and mourning<3996> over Her, that their cargo<1117> no one is buying anymore.
12 Cargo of gold and silver, and precious stone and pearl and fine linen and purple, and silk, and scarlet...................
15 The Merchants of these, those being rich from Her, from afar<3113> shall be standing, because of the fear of Her torment<929>, weeping<2799> and mourning<3996>, 16 and saying, Woe! Woe! the great City, that was having been arrayed<4016> fine linen and purple and scarlet and have been gilded in gold and precious stone and pearls.
That to one hour was desolated<2049> the so much riches.
============================
One thing that led me to do a more in depth study on those particular passages was because of my deep study on the covenantle parable/story of the Rich Man and Lazarus[poor beggar] where fine linen and purple are also mentioned. [Abraham and Moses are also mentioned]

Lazarus and the Rich Man - Here a little, there a little - Commentary

1737. endidusko a prolonged form of 1746;
to invest (with a garment):--clothe in, wear.

Luke 16:19

A certain Man was rich and clothed<1737> in purple and fine linen making-merry down to a-day, shiningly<2988> [Matt 22:11]

We begin by scrutinizing the description Yeshua gives us of the rich man. First, he tells us that this man was clothed in purple and fine linen. This type of clothing would not have been out of the ordinary for one of considerable wealth during this time period. However, this attire also has symbolic meaning. The Eerdmans Bible Dictionary says: "The wearing of purple was associated particularly with royalty . . ." (p. 863, "Purple"). In addition, the New Bible Dictionary tells us: "The use of linen in OT times was prescribed for priests (Ex. 28:39). The coat, turban and girdle must be of fine linen." (p. 702, "Linen").

So we see that the garments worn by this rich man were symbolic of royalty and the priesthood. With that in mind, let's see what God told Moses just before giving the Israelites the Law on Mount Sinai:

The clothing of the rich man identifies him symbolically with the people of Israel, chosen by God to be His special people. They were called to be a witness to the nations surrounding them, confirming the blessings available to those who would obey God and keep His laws. Unfortunately, they frequently did not live up to the high calling given to them by God. Eventually He sent them into captivity for their refusal to honor their part of the covenant ratified at Mount Sinai. At the time of Yeshua, only the House of Judah continued to have a covenant relationship with God. The rich man in this parable represents the religious Jews of Yeshua's day, exemplified by their teachers, the Pharisees and scribes.

Verse 19 also tells us that the rich man "fared sumptuously every day." Figuratively, this represents the magnificent spiritual feast available only to the Jews, who were the sole remaining part of God's called people, Israel. In the 1st century CE, they were the only people on earth who had the true religion. Indeed, Paul recounts the glorious station of the House of Judah in Romans 9:
==========================================
Purple and fine linen occur together in only 3 verses of the NT

Genesis 1:1 (NKJV)

Luk 16:19
“There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day.
Rev 18:12
“merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble;
Rev 18:16
“and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls!
