My suggestion does not prevent people from identifying with various genders, I'm just saying they should not assume a stranger is referring to their sex not their gender when addressed, and public facilities is in reference to their sex, not their gender when they wish to use.
yeah, I understand where you are coming from .... however ... but that's not what is happening. You can't control what a person thinks, but one can control what they say. You can't presume what someone is thinking about their gender/sex.
