Ah yes - Monte Judah. Interesting guy.

I have some serious issues with his "Ephraimite" theology; But beyond that, some of his stuff is pretty good.

Yeah, there are just some things he says that just don't agree with my spirit, but I'm very grateful to have God as my teacher and guide through all of this.

A suggestion: If you stop looking at the Mosaic and New Covenants as separate and stand-alone documents, you will not get it. BUT, if you look at the New as an UPDATE and partial continuation to the Mosaic, it will make more sense.

There is much more continuity than most churches realize.

I do and I don't look at it as a stand alone lol! Hard to convey that, but I know Jesus said: Matthew 5:17 so that does help me tie the two together. What my issue is is that I have never been taught the Lord's Feasts so I have no idea what it supposed to look like. Or am I looking into that too much? I just know that they are important appointed meeting times with God.

That is what started me on my spiritual journey.. Learning about the feasts, especially their prophetic significance has been enlightening. It helps put Revelation in perspective. It helps with understanding Hebrews better. It helps with so many verses that were before insignificant but now are powerful in their message. I love the feasts.

Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

I absolutely agree! Being guided to this has placed a light in me I didn't perceive before and I knew I had to look into it, but with help of course - and being very careful with that help. But yeah, it's just as you said, what I read now with this new perspective, I understand a little more. Not just Revelation, but also Ezekiel which seems to tie quite a bit together - Daniel too, but I haven't got to that one yet. There's SO much to read!

7 days David fasted and prayed for the first born.
Reminds me of 7 days of unleavened bread.
To which I also imagine the disciples doing the same for the First born of Creation.

Blessings Always

Actually it really was only 6 days because 2 Samuel 12 says the child died on the 7th and it was then when he learned it, he broke his fast.

As for the other replies, I have no idea what you're talking about, so that really doesn't help me - all these riddles. I'm learning the best I can and thank God I have Him to teach me. Thanks anyway. :yellowheart:

The Word of God just opens up in more ways that I can could count. I love it. I love the study. I love the insights, inspirations, and the revelations. It makes so much more sense.

If the atonement ONCE AND FOR ALL, was finished, then heaven's Yom Kippur is finished. If heaven's Yom Kippur is finished, then the process for dealing with sin is also finished and Yeshua no longer needs to be a High Priest.
Simply because not all have entered in, does not mean he has not finished his atoning work. It is available to all who accept it.

There is a difference between "atoning" and "atonement".. one is a process, the other is the finished product.

Did I not say he has finished his atoning work? i.e made atonement
The heavenly Yom Kippur will be the ultimate "Atonement", the last one, the only one that counts because Yeshua officiated it. Now knowing the judgement of the Lord has an appointed time, called the Day of Atonement, it is important to learn more about this appointed time and what to expect. I want you to understand that when the Lord comes to His temple it will be fast, suddenly.

For those that are prepared for it, this will be a time of great rejoicing, for those who are unprepared, it will be the judgement that they so feared. That is how you will know the great Yom Kippur of heaven is in session.

Think about it, if God suddenly came to your mind, and all the secret things are revealed in their true light, how would you feel, what you do and how would you respond to such an event.

Because of hardness of heart, there will be people will not listen to the message that would have prepared them as to what is about to come upon the world, leaving them unprepared for the reality of the event. This is way it is so important to keep your eyes upon the Lord and His Word which He speaks through. He will declare everything before it comes to pass.

Taking down that curtain in your mind, that most people use to mentally separate
themselves from God, before He comes to your temple like He did to the Temple in the
wilderness. God suddenly shows up in all His majestic Holiness, and my question to you is ,
are you prepared for Him to come in all His Holiness? Today it is your sins that separate
you from God like a curtain. They are what keep you from seeing God. God will tear
down that curtain suddenly in the day that He said He would.

Mourning for the only son, Yeshua, God’s people will be rejoicing when He comes to their temple, in the real way which is more awesome than there are words to describe the experience. It will be a totally different event for them.

The Lord knows that only He is the one for His bride. He will come suddenly to her, which is our minds, the Temple of God, at the appointed time. It is important for believers to be ready at the appointed time for this experience with God. It is so necessary for us to prepare to live with God forever.

We know whos is the chosen man, who is appointed over her. God asks “who is like me?” and “who will appoint me the time?” and “who is that shepherd that will stand before me?”

God said that He will come suddenly to His Temple.

Amen to all of this. It's why I'm so adamant about pointing people to God when they have a question or a problem. If anyone trusts God, He will point you in the right direction - especially concerning His Word.
I've been praying for my husband to give him more of His wisdom - and has done just that and He is teaching him as well as myself at the same time. Isn't God Awesome!!?:yellowheart:

Read closely shemot and vayikra. There is more than a Torah per day and yr involved.
There are folds of time that are necessary to explore the terrain of the Torah.

Shavuot Shabbat is more than an single day or weeks feast.

Just as with a first born male has an 8th day to consider. Time is relative.

I wonder what an 8th day shavuot would be like?

Interesting parallels.
I find the Sinai Shavuot tradition to be likened to a circumcision of the Heart.
A humble reminder of the Lack of patience in the fruitable Spirit. A place in Time a community should consider familial ties.
Are we not all related according to ...?

I see a lesson in such a separation of generations while the impatient people feared the shofar.

I wonder who here has been given a Spirit of fear?

I recall my Lord speaking about a stumbling block.

Perhaps, a lack of patience is the culprit.
But what do I know

I see the Shabbats, whether weekly, monthly, annually, yearly, etc are all just keys in a lock, where when the tumbler of Shabbats line up the key will unlock the mystery of God.
