Erm, much of those nasties are found in the Australian 'Outback'... outside of civilisation... like the American Frontiers or Deserts... I'm a Sydneyan and I've never seen half those creatures in my life. I saw my first Red Back spider inside a drain in Primary School 30 years ago. I saw another one under a our garden bench during the recent Summer, when it was very hot and very dry. That's 2 encounters in 30+ years!

Here's a view of Sydney from a Sydneyan. Taken at sunrise overlooking the canopy of the Lane Cove National Park. Sleeping beneath the canopy are thousands of rainbow lorikeets, parrots, and other critters.

'The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof...' (Ps. 24:1)

Actually, the most dangerous animals in Sydney at the minute are our politicians, judges, and their henchmen, also false teachers at our schools and churches; we live in white-washed Roman times with similar animosity against Christians. We lack freedom of religion (protecting and preserving our Christian heritage) and we lack freedom of speech (we can hardly identify as Christians without self-ruin). These signs indicate the encroaching end times... and the Lord's return.

- The Australian Federal Police raid the Australian Broadcasting Commission (June 2019)
- The Australian, on religious censorship (May 2019)
- Censorship of Christians on Facebook, and The Rise of Anti-Christian Sentiment in the West
- Same in New York: Christian Courier, Growing Anti-Christian Sentiment

Blessed be the Lord. Maranatha.

You were lucky. I've had a couple of friends forced to evacuate due to funnel web swarms, and I've been bitten by a snake.

Yeah, yeah, your interpretation of your holy book says you have to be persecuted, so you desperately go searching for it. Heard it all before.

Wow, can you imagine the outcry if this happened in the USA to the press?

I'm not arachnophobic. Spiders don't bother me. Ordinary mosquitos are much more troublesome. I must generate copious amounts of carbon dioxide. In hot, humid weather, if I don't DEET myself thoroughly, I'll get eaten alive.

You're welcome

The US has freedom of press under the First Amendment to the US Constitution. We have no such protections. No bill of rights. Just a few lines here...

Indeed, a current blitzkrieg is taking place against dozens of high profile journalists from all major media outlets. It's corruption directly linked to the Catholic Church (and it's hidden power in Australia), with the trial of George Pell / the Royal Commission into Child Sexual Abuse, and turmoil in politics since 2007 (Kevin Rudd). - Australia is already a secret state, governed by a secret government, and a secret court.

Most Australians are oblivious, lacking any moral integrity, clueless as to how a gestapo and 4th reich dictatorship are dismantling this country, robbing the liberties and livelihood of future generations.

Constitutional religious liberties (as Christians), civil liberties (like freedom of speech), and judicial liberties (like a right to fair trial with a full jury), and human rights (to go anywhere in the country without being taxed - $10-50 highway tolls, $1000 car registration, $1000 car insurance, 50% petrol exercise). - It's no longer a 'free country', not at all.

@Tanj In the UK there are no deadly critters when you enter a hospital you have a 7% chance of death, whereas in Australia, if you enter a hospital you have a 15% chance of death. These figures are from Wed 9 May 1860 (see article). Why so old you wonder ? Because Australian hospitals no longer release mortality rate info...

University of Melbourne (21 December, 2017), Why don’t we know how many people die in our hospitals?

Because, "Australia’s National Health Performance Authority (NHPA) decided not to release data on death rates across Australia’s hospitals." i.e. secrecy and censorship.

So if you ever have to make a Freedom of Information request to an Australian hospital, expect to be declined. Only 19-20% of people are granted access to records they need... explaining what happened to their loved one...

In the 1850s they were saying, Australian Hospitals have "imperilled the well-being of our poor; it has brought shame on the medical profession". - Then they had access to information. Now we are blind, so one can only wonder.

Oz consistently has more conservative govt's right?

As with many modern democracies, it’s about 50-50 between conservative and progressive governments.

Mind you, even our most conservative governments would be regarded as socialist by many in the US...
