Last week President Trump’s internal poll was leaked to the press that his internal poll showing he is loosing to some DNC candidate. No surprise to anyone, White House and President Trump called them Fake News and dismissed it. President Trump even went further to say all his internal polls are great and he is winning in every states. No poll exist that show he is losing.

Here comes to contradiction. Past weekend Trump Campaign fired their internal pollsters for leaking.

If the news is fake, the poll doesn’t exist than no one leaked anything. That means no one needs to be fired.

I think the desired effect (the undermining of the term "fake news" as a legitimate descriptor), ain't gonna work since most people who believe Trump just reflectively ignore stuff like this.

I look forward to seeing the 4 polls where Trump is leading though. I also look forward whichever polls showing a Trump lead being given the only credibility and anything showing hte opposite being ignored.

After three years I think I may have figured out President Trump’s supporters. They compartmentalize all the information, all the behavior , and then some of the behavior and information they hide deep down and believe those don’t exist, in other issue they try to rationalize and when they can’t rationalize they contradict themselves but somehow don’t realize they are contradicting themselves.

For example – if you push them they will admit President Trump lie. But they rationalize that “ Oh all politician lie” . I understand that. But 2 minutes latter they will tell you “ we love Trump because he is not a politician, he speaks his mind”. As you can see 2 minutes earlier , he iact like all other politician but in same conversation they like him because he is not a politician.

Yesterday I was watching Chris Matthews’ “The decider” town hall meeting. Many supporter of President Trump admit that President Trump’s “name calling” is bad but when Chris pushed them , their justification was “ oh other politician do name-calling too, they just do it in privet”

Past 30 years evangelical wanted a president who is Christian, who has moral value and who has good family value, but now they contradict themselves and say “ we are not electing Sundays school teacher, we are electing POTUS”.

I can go on and on , point is somehow they accept two contradicting facts / behavior simultaneously. No logic , no truth can penetrate in that alternative world.

It’s called “doublethink”, I think.

In the above post you've proven without doubt that you absolutely don't understand the Trump supporters. This may be due to t either not actually knowing any Trump supporters on a personal basis or simply not listening when they explain their position.

That’s why I said ” I may have”, I didn’t say “ I figured out”

Now that I see you are a President Trump’s supporter why don’t you educate me why you support him.

You vision is blurred. I do not consider myself a Trump supporter. I don't support Trump. I do support and favor some of the policies he has been able to put into practice , some he has advocated for but has not been able to get adopted by the state and I disfavor and oppose others. Liking somethings that a politician wants to do is not the same as liking the politician.

Well, you're insisting that Tiberius Lee got Donald supporters wrong, so please explain what they are about, even if you're not one.

QFT. That's exactly like it's been since Trump was still campaigning for the presidency.

My personal favorite is "Trump tells it like it is and he speaks his mind," that is until he's caught telling a lie or saying something that is easily proven wrong, then it's "That's not what he meant!"

Well, you're insisting that Tiberius Lee got Donald supporters wrong, so please explain what they are about, even if you're not one.

They are millions of individuals. Each one with a personal POV on politics, government and society. I cannot explain what they are about because they are not a bunch of stereotypes but real live human beings and therefore are not about one set of things but about millions of things and things that may differ from one another as much as they agree with one another. The only thing I can say for sure about them that is universally correct is that they support Trump in one way or another. Some perhaps because they like him personally, some because he tends to frustrate his most ardent opponents but being Trump, some because he is a unapologetically not PC , some because they see no one else that will attempt to solve the problems they see in the country, some because they always vote Republican, some because they feel disenfranchised by both parties and approve of a candidate that the elite of both parties despise etc. etc.. Some become e embarrassed by some of the thins he says while a others are exhilarated by them. It may make people feel superior to place them all in a stereotype basket of deplorables but one group pursuing a feeling of superiority over another group has not historically led to a better world.

Trump doesn't realize that his multiple grievances aren't internally consistent.
At some point, you'd figure his fan base would tire of constantly being taken advantage of. But both anecdotally and from the polling numbers, it appears they like putting themselves in a subservient position to someone who thinks they're not smart enough to figure out they're being conned. Kinda sad to watch, honestly, if it wasn't for all the damage the fan base seems to be doing to the country.

In reference to the bolded, Trump supporters may want to listen to his speeches with that thought in mind.

Can you name a politician today whose speeches don't express the opinion that some group is morally inferior? Perhaps us considering individuals that disagree with us as equally morally upright until they prove otherwise by their actions or at least not as evil as politician's speeches imply is too much to hope for?
