Let's pray for Hong Kong

People in Hong Kong are protesting the government, which seeks to extradite any accused criminal to mainland China. That means anyone who steps foot in Hong Kong will be subject to the Chinese justice system. The protests are getting violent, with tear gas and rubber bullets. I read that 72 people have been injured by the violence of the police force.

Pray for this very unique territory and especially our brothers and sisters in this situation.

Lord, this reminds me of Genesis 6:11. Violence and persecution have nagged at Christians for centuries. This too shall pass. In the meantime, may we be strong in You, over-comers, and may we see how You work out all things for good to them that love You and are called, Romans 8:28. Amen.
