Oh, no... That may be Spotted Lanternflies for me this summer. I'm already seeing nymphs all over my apartment building. Please, no...

Thankfully they have identified a soil fungus which wipes them out. I'm going to try to get some insecticide which has it in the ingredients.

Well, only the insect type so far! I have yet to spot the other type during my woodland hikes. Seriously... how do they keep their dresses from getting tangled in everything?

I'm really dreading that red and black stage. Ugh... The winged stage is bad, too, because then they're crunchy when you smash them, which sets my teeth on edge.
