HI IM,

I just has a good laugh:
childish insults thrown at him

Really??? Childish insults thrown at him???? No one I've ever known throws more childish insults at people than the great Donald J. Trump. Go ahead, name me three people you know that regularly make up childish and insulting names and uses them out loud and repeatedly when speaking about them. Just three.

God bless,
In Christ, ted

Yes, I said thrown at him. I don’t name names, but you do watch the media and read forum comments... don’t you?

(Shrugs) I think both sides are having a competition on the childish part myself. lol if the other side of this was so 'adult' they wouldn't be doing the same thing. I remember them - media, etc - doing this regularly prior to Trump being on the scene. Now we have a ping pong game.

I have no idea if this 'agreement' that they claim was made months ago is going to do much. If it takes months for them to fulfill something they agreed upon that long ago? It doesn't make me feel like they are taking it very seriously, and are going to actually fulfill anything. They would have announced it prior to the tariff meetings if that was the case - unless of course they do everything delayed. If you know there is a crisis in their country too? WHICH there is than you don't wait months to address it knowing it is harming yourself and your neighbor.

Personally, at this point I just hope they step up. If there are other 'agreements' they made months ago? I would hope they realize the urgency now, and fulfill those too. Something doesn't add up in this announcement, and if they are trying to save face? They have their opportunity now. Act on the agreement, and not wait months - and no doubt another threat - then say you were going too. That just looks like you are dragging your feet, and now making excuses for it.

I don’t think Mexico will ever step-up. They can’t... they’re totally dependent on the U.S. and wide-open borders as a safety valve for their inability to take care of their people. The influx of refugees from countries south of them is a welcome diversion from the pitiful situation of their own poor people, who depend on the U.S. for survival.

lol I wish I could disagree with you! I really do!

The lack of will to take care of their own is a huge part of it. People complain about the corruption here, but we are angelic compared to parts of their country.

Mexico has come a long way from the past - economically - and they should be working more deals then they are currently with other parts of the world. It is possible - along with the other countries that the migrants are coming from. THey need to find the incentive, and I'm hoping this crunch will help them see the light to be more responsible for their own people. They deserve better.

Our country can't be their solution, because they are making no effort - of substance - to help themselves. I'm not speaking of just Mexico here either. They are only part of the issue. We can't just keep taking in their poor, because the flow will never stop if they can't learn to help themselves. Our economy - as big as it is - can't find enough lack of skills labor to help them afford the cost of living here either. It's not fair to anyone.

If we had responsible politicians - and not partisans - we would be talking about that. Yet, whining about children in cages is much more palatable to them. They are cowards IMO.

Yes, Mexico will no doubt continue to funnel all the oppressed and poor they can around the responsibility of their elite class and into the U.S. Allowing everyone into our country, and taking care of them once they’re here is our game, not theirs.

When I look for news.. I try to search. There are sources out there that really lean left. Fact.. so if I read lets say THIS ONE.. I would search for others. Because way to many times.. THIS source has ..got it wrong. So many times that STORY.. had things missing in that story.

The Father has put someone in that office and didnt ask if it was OK with us. For me it changed even though the Father told me what the out come would be. But still I wanted someone else. But what changed it for me was a interview I saw.. it was a British man and people there. I STILL have not see that on ANY TV network.. strange... I could have miss it.. yeah thats it..

But they were talking about truth. He said "I think some Americans might disagree with you" She says.her words "I don't lie.. I dont think I have ever lied or ever will"... I jumped ship then

How long has Trump been negotiating with mexico?
...I think "negotiating" is to strong a word for what President Trump has been doing in any of his dealings with Mexico. I'd say "petulant whining" coupled with "school yard tough talk" would be a much better description. I suspect he's always just on the edge of throwing himself on the ground, kicking and screaming because they wont do what he wants them to do. :tantrum:

I think that's more of a possibility than Trump behaving like a respectable dignified leader.

uhmmm...I thought this thread was about President Trump, not me. If I'm who you'd like to discuss shouldn't you start a thread about me where my maturity (or apparent lack of) can be discussed?
tulc(thinks that would be the easiest way to avoid derailing this thread)

Fake news again...as usual...more predictable left biased propaganda paid for news to get Trump haters nickers in a knot so they can engage in some more bashing of their hated POTUS.

It'll be a great day when the indictments come down on all those house democrats and their friends who have done nothing but create a great divide in the US.

Exactly. The NY Times can't be trusted to learn which day of the week it is. It's a biased left wing propaganda rage that no intelligent person could possibly take seriously. Fox News is HATED by the lie merchants on the left because they give both sides of the argument; something every real journalist used to do.

Tulc obviouosly still believes Jayson Blair is a journalist.

Speaking of poor journalism that is biased and misleading...

Fox has a mixed rating for right wing bias, poor sourcing, spreading of conspiracy theories, publishing misleading reports and omitting reporting of information that may damage conservative causes (Fox News - Media Bias/Fact Checking). Here's a report on the accuracy of Fox News: Fox's File: PunditFact.

All False statements involving FOX

Poll reveals Fox News as the winner of ‘Fake News Trophy’

Fox ‘News’ isn’t journalism. It’s pathetic partisan pandering

Fox News coordinated with White House on false story, lawsuit says

Fact Checker Finds 60% Of Fox News Statements To Either Be Mostly False Or A Lie

In other words, Fox News is about as reliable for honest news reporting as the National Enquirer.
