Belief in Jesus’s death, burial and resurrection cannot be suffice to save anyone: 1 Corinthians 15:2-4.

1 Corinthians 15:2-4
2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. 3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

However, the above Scripture cannot be suffice to save anyone.

In other words, belief in “Jesus’s death, burial and resurrection” is simply not good enough to save anyone.

Because Jesus himself has stipulated OTHER requirements, which are ADDITIONAL to the above Scripture:-

Luke 10:25 And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do TO INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE?”

Luke 10:26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?”

Luke 10:27 So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”

Luke 10:28 And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; DO THIS AND YOU WILL LIVE.”

Matthew 19:16 Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do TO GET ETERNAL LIFE?”

Matthew 19:17 If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.

Matthew 19:18 “Which ones?” he inquired.

Jesus replied, “‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony,

Matthew 19:19 honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’”

Therefore, Matthew 19 and Luke 10 provides conclusive evidence that one’s mere belief in “Jesus’s death, burial and resurrection” cannot be suffice to save anyone.

Because Jesus himself had clearly stated that there are also OTHER requirements which are ADDITIONAL to one’s belief in his death, burial and resurrection.

Those OTHER requirements are clearly stated in Matthew 19 and Luke 10.

Consequently, 1 Corinthians 15 cannot be the “all-inclusive formula of Salvation” as Paul might have suggested.

Because Matthew 19 and Luke 10 is proof that there are also OTHER requirements, which are ADDITIONAL to Jesus’s death, burial and resurrection.

Discuss.

If I understand the the topic correctly it is believing in Christs life, death and resurrection is not enough, more is required. Like loving God with all your heart and keeping the Commandments.

How many people believe in their hearts that Christ conquered death but don't follow him? Surely not many?

Presumably this belief would lead on to a new appreciation for God and a new outlook and behavior.

To me the Scripture doesn’t appear to be separating itself and the belief in Jesus’ resurrection as I think your OP suggests, but connecting them. Paul is just emphasizing the importance of Christ’s role in the Scripture, and in our salvation. Yes, Paul says in verse 2 that it is by this gospel you are saved, and then in verse 3 and 4 that Christ died for our sins according to those scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. Believing in Jesus is therefore believing in the Scripture (including the other requirements you speak of).

What you are missing, A&O, is that these are two non-believers who were challenging Jesus. His answer is what would be right if the Savior had not come to give himself for our sins, etc. His reply was in kind, in other words. It was in the spirit of their questioning.

But the glory of the Gospel is that those who do truly believe in Jesus as the Son of God have him to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves.

Paul says we "stand" in the Gospel > 1 Corinthians 15:1. So, believing means living, trusting . . .

"we who first trusted in Christ" > in Ephesians 1:12.

And trusting Jesus brings us to all He desires to share with us.

"'Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.'" (in Matthew 11:28-30)

There is just one requirement and it is stated many times in the only book of the Bible (Gospel of John) whose stated purpose for being written. Is to tell people how to have eternal life.

Its message for receiving eternal life is
Believe that Jesus of the New Testament is the promised Messiah (only begotten/unique Son of God) from Old Testament prophecies. And trust in Him for His gift of His eternal life to anyone who will trust in The Messiah for eternal life.
Look to the Messiah and live, do not look and die, it's that simple.

“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

It is the receiving of the Holy Spirit through the work of Jesus Christ of Nazareth that restores our relationship with the Father thus conquering sin and the second death. In order to receive we must believe. From there, we have entered into "a new" and are children of God in His Kingdom where Jesus Christ of Nazareth is King. When we walk in the Spirit the law is written in our hearts. No other work is needed the Holy Spirit naturally regenerates us through and through. It is only when we "quench" the Holy Spirit that we cause grief between us and the Father thus causing us to sin.

Saved and have eternal life is not the same. Person can be saved from the judgment just by the words of Jesus. And it means, sins are freely forgiven and so person is saved from the judgment that would come because of sin. But it is only like a fresh start, new beginning. After it, person should be righteous, to get eternal life. And if person is righteous, he will do righteous actions.

These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.
Mat. 25:46

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23

This is why Jesus said:

"Neither do I condemn you. Go your way. From now on, sin no more."
John 8:11

…unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.
Luke 13:3

Please clarify.
You made it an either/or when what accompanies the new birth is we are “His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”

The answer is from Galatians:

"O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? After starting in the Spirit, are you now finishing in the flesh?" (Galatians 3:1-3).

If you are promoting following commandments to supplement belief and Christ crucified, then if Paul was present, he would most certainly say the same thing to you: "Who has bewitched you to believe that?"

Those passages were spoken BEFORE the new covenant began and are no longer what is required to receive eternal life. We have to consult NEW COVENANT scriptures to learn what saved a person under the NEW COVENANT.

I don't have to provide those actually. Proving that the requirements for eternal life before the new covenant cannot be applied to after the NC began is enough to disprove your OP. You were trying to add in OT law obedience into the new covenant which is clearly invalid.

But Jesus’s “first and great commandment” is still a requirement for Christians to be saved and enter the Kingdom of heaven: Matthew 22:37-38.

The fact that this particular passage is in the New Testament itself proves that this particular commandment is integral to the new covenant (although you may well disagree). Because the new covenant doesn’t abolish every rule in the Old Testament (Such as the Ten Commandments).

Ultimately, God’s Judgment of the earth in the future Tribulation AND the Great White Throne Judgment in heaven are to be carried out according to Jesus’s interpretation of this particular Scripture, but no other interpretation will count during those 2 events.

Those 2 Judgments will be carried out according to His opinion alone, but no one else’s opinion will matter at all.

The OT requirement to love God is still a requirement in this Age of the new covenant, but everyone else’s opinion is null and void.

Since only God has possession of the weapon, which are the 2 Judgments.

The only interpretation that counts would always belong to the one who has the weapon.

Other people’s opinion is useless without such a weapon.

What's important here is to recognize that what was required for eternal life before the new covenant was different than what was required after the new covenant began. Naturally there are differences and similarities.

You claim, "Belief in Jesus’s death, burial and resurrection cannot be suffice to save anyone." and that is a false claim.

Rom_10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

This passage is correct, but it doesn’t negate Jesus’s first and great commandment, which are words spoken by Jesus himself: Matthew 22:37-38.

Consequently, Christians are still required to “love God” as a condition of their Salvation in this Age of the New Covenant.

This is still a requirement, because God has said so.
