i'v been with god for almost 2 months and my life has been getting much better with Jesus but is this wrong?
We're not to love the world to the point where we wish His delay...

2 Timothy 4:8 KJV
[8] Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Most people who don't want the Lord to come yet, love their lives in the world and / or love the world or the things in it.

Those are things we shouldn't be in. Because the Bible seem to strongly imply that if we love our lives in this world, or love the word and things in it, it is a sign we have not been saved yet.

We cannot serve two masters. Because our Lord and the World or money are completely opposite things. One is good, one is evil (1 John 5:19).

I've many Christians say you can love both as long as you love God a lot more. They are clearly deceived and obviously don't read their Bible.

You can't love both. You must choose who you should love.

John 12:25
Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

Matthew 10:39
Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

Matthew 16:25
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

So are you saying we shouldn't be happy or something like that?
and that i should start disliking my life to get saved?

Love Christ more than your earthly pleasures.
Put Christ above your earthly pleasures.
Everything you do, do it for Christ and with Christ.

I give you one example, instead of watching a movie, read the Bible, that's how you turn from your earthly pleasures, to Christ, you deny your own desires, you deny your own self.

I just had a very terrible experience and this made me to understand that everything I have, I have to give it to Christ, no more movies, no more video games, no more empty music, no more earthly pleaures, Christ and only Christ.

If you know the truth about the world that it is evil, would you still like to derive your happiness from it?

Study your Bible very carefully to know these things. The best strategy Satan is using today is make Christians not carefully study their Bibles, preoccupied by worldly things so he can deceive them with substitute / corrupt Christian theologies.

And we don't needlessly dislike our lives just to be saved - that won't work. But if you know the truth, you will no longer want to like your life in this world.

That's perfectly okay, no problem! Read the Bible first. Start from the New Testament. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

From there you can find the answer you're looking for. :)

It would be better if you find the answer yourself than have me give you the answer so easily. I've already given you some answers, up to you to find the rest.

At times we have too much of an attachment to this earth.

Let us not be like Lot's wife who looked back and turned into a pillar of salt.

I think liking to be alive if that's what you mean, and loving the world are two different things that can be confused confused. We all like to be alive, and we can like our Christian life. We are told we can live it even more abundantly in Christ so it is clear we are to enjoy being alive.

The actual scripture does after all say it's our worldly life we should not love, not our life in Christ.

John 12:25
New International Version
Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

As to you not wanting Christ to return yet, I get what others are saying but there are good reasons to feel that way too...so that more can be saved, something i see was just mentioned. There may be more reasons I don't know of.

Can you tell us why you'd rather he not return at this moment?

All very good reasons, and a very good general outlook.

Of course, looking forward to His return but very concerned about family, friends, and others who haven't given their hearts to Yeshua yet. Appealing to heaven.

This is probably a good reason to want to delay His return.

But to many Christians I've talked to, they didn't want Christ to come yet because they have a good life, they want to have grand kids, see the whole world (the irony -- what profits a man if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul!). Mostly worldly desires.

What could possibly be better in this world now compared to the world after Christ's return?

Same Christians also hate the prospect of miracles or supernatural phenomenon other than healing, and casting out of evil spirits and maybe some random Prophecies. They want to limit the supernatural to as little and impotent as possible....

I makes you wonder if this is the "generation" that Jesus is talking about.

True, God made it and said, "that it was good."

Naturally, we are going to like it and at times think that we may miss it later?

But, we need to finish the good race and look forward to the new Earth and our glorified bodies that will be with us someday.

True, it is a struggle.
And will be as long as we are stuck in this flesh with sin.
