Okay so not sure if other people are aware of this but millennials are weird when it comes to dating marriage and all that. I'm a millennial myself and I think it's interesting that we are so obsessed with careers, money, and finding ourselves that we don't date get married or interact with other people.

Stats says millennials aren't dating and marrying they are waiting for way too long. Into mid thirties and by then some can't have children.

Not trolling but um I read way too many posts on this forum about people waiting way too long to date or marry or do normal things. It's just...weird. I know this forum is obsessed with purity but there are other important things in life too. Millennials are going to destroy the economy and are messing with the population dynamics.

Just stop worrying about if so and so is the chosen one and just date and meet people sheesh. People in my grandparents Day got married at 18 and 16 matter of fact I think that's how old they were. We are forgetting to live life.

I'm a Millennial too.

Millennials have done what they were told. They mostly went to college and they've found themselves saddled with unmanageable debt while unable to find well-paying jobs. These types can't afford to get married.

The ones who didn't go to college have less debt. But they also spent the majority of their adult lives struggling through a depressed economy, never getting promotions, rarely getting raises, etc. These types also can't afford to get married.

As you're a Millennial yourself, I find it surprising that you don't understand these simple truths. Millennials want to have a stable home and a stable life before they have children. So far though, stability has eluded them through no fault of theirs. I understand where they're coming from. I was only able to get married less than a month ago after a long time of trying. I consider myself very fortunate because my friends are mostly not able to get married, either because of their finances or because they've only been able to meet women who want to "have fun" and "live life to the fullest".

It's not as easy to manage this stuff as you're making it out to be.

Oh no I totally understand for financial reasons but I'm also like you can still totally date if you don't have money or try to have a social life.

I'm more frustrated with people that are like 28+ that have never dated and are waiting for the one to spontaneously appear or who say I have no interest in dating because all guys or all women are crazy etc.

I feel like they are going to miss out on life.

The economy should be allowed to implode. Housing prices have gone through the roof, as banks, governments and boomers. Have leveraged assets prices to the hilt. AND opened up mass migration from the 3rd World to maintain prices. Every additional migrant is one less potential native.

Unless you're living in some "privileged enclave", have a diehard work ethic or kiss up. The future doesn't look bright on this world.....

70 Million people in the UK 0.2 acres of arable land per person. Which is next to nothing. At least with the USA, people have an entire continent and 5 times the arable land.

Besides a few middle and upper class Europeans tended to have 0 to 3 kids, basically at replacement level. For hundreds of years. Very rarely did they have like 10; Unless they were working class, with high infant mortality, that levelled off at replacement or a slight, to a massive increase just before the Victorian era.

Roman Britain 4 Million. Doomsday Britain 2 Million. 16th Century 3 Million.

Perhaps Millennials aren't dating because they have no interest in a serious relationship? With so many growing up in broken homes with divorced parents almost being the norm, who wants to inflict that upon themselves? Better off to deal with the occasional loneliness until someone really amazing comes along than to find yourself drawn into a relationship which ultimately hurts you further.

And as a Christian Millennial, I get so tired of couples living together and having kids without ever making a true commitment to each other. Some go into it expecting it to be temporary - like life is just an endless line of boyfriends or girlfriends and some unfortunate children thrown into the mix. It boggles my mind that they could be okay with that lifestyle.

Not everywhere. In most of the world, the millenials are reaching great heights unknown to past generations.
Not referring to innovation in this post, strictly talking in terms of procreation and socializing outside of a device. Generally I think we are more educated and creative than other generations have been, we certainly hold the most degrees lol.

So even more people should be hit with extreme poverty and businesses and society should be destroyed because you think that certain elements of society are failing... Boo. That's a selfish perspective. I usually say that when things aren't going well for me but I'm never really serious cause why doom a bunch of other people for no reason.

Not just innovation. I travel a lot around the globe. Youngsters in many parts of the world have no issues socializing and procreating. In some regions they procreate too much, if you ask my opinion. :)

New heights in all repects, not only technological - free thinking, bold ambitions, searching for revolutionary solutions - I love the millenials. Very different from my generation of the 1970s, all thinking and acting the same way... Our world is in a very bad shape, but I hold great hopes looking at our young. It's our chance for true progress in the future.

My daughter is a millennial. She’s 28 and isn’t interested in dating anyone at this time. Her primary focus is God and walking out the purpose she’s been given. Which means building a business and ministering to others through personal finance.

This will enable her to work from home, contribute to the well-being of the household, and educate her children through homeschooling or private instruction.

We view this as an example of vision and planning that the bible speaks of. She won’t be an albatross to her future husband or arrive laden with debts he must assume.

This is a season for building and the prudent would be wise to utilize it. The minor delays are nothing compared to a life of drudgery and financial encumbrance.

My daughter will be out of the workforce by 30. Her presence of mind and discipline won’t limit her options. If anything, she’s more attractive because of them. We mimic the ant. Not the grasshopper. :)
