Today God will visit every of your needs, both physically and spiritually. The Lord will lead you into a new phase of grace and glory, a new era of joy and happiness, a new period of serene peace and good health. Yes God will direct you to a new turning around that will grant you those lofty goals that you have prayed for, those outstanding achievements that you want and those indelible marks of greatness that you want to make in Jesus Mighty name. Amen. It's another happy day, a new beginning. Good morning.

Yes God will direct you to a new turning around that will grant you those lofty goals that you have prayed for,

Instead I met misery, tons of it as if everything conspired to stop me from reaching my goal.

What "lofty goal" I prayed for may not be lofty to some but it is to me. To me, it's an incredibly lofty goal. I prayed to know the Truth about everything.

It left me confused about many things.

God will work in each believer's life to accomplish the goals and achievements he has chosen for that person and to bring about the marks of greatness he has chosen to show through that believer. The purpose of the Christian life is to fulfill God's will in our lives and in order to do this God sometimes has to destroy the goals and aims we have set by our own will.

10 But the God of all grace who has called you unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

Hebrews 12:5-6
5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks unto you as unto children, My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loves he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives.

Matthew 16:24-25
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, 'If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall find it.

The Way of the Cross is not a way of ease, comfort and prosperity. But it is the way of every true disciple of Jesus Christ. God is not in the business of serving our interests, but of using us to serve His own.
