Will Trump run unopposed in the 2020 Republican primary?

Over a period of 22 years. Thought that bore repeating
“Could not be confirmed” doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t citizens. In 2000 I was living in Palm Beach County. I got a letter in the mail saying I was booted from the voting rolls because I had not “confirmed” my felony status when I last registered. I’ve never even been arrested. Yet the government didn’t know I wasn’t a felon?

In my experience working with undocumented immigrants, the last thing they want to do is ANYTHING with the government. They aren’t registering to vote.

These laws are no different than seatbelt laws and drug laws.
Just so.

They are all unjustified violations of individual liberty that allow widespread abuse of power by law enforcement in direct opposition to any notion of limited government.

58,000 non-U.S. citizens may have voted in at least one election here, election official says

Update: Texas’ efforts to purge voter lists: Protect elections or suppress votes? And Nearly 20 percent of Tarrant voters flagged for citizenship scrutiny didn’t belong on list

Texas election officials said Friday that tens of thousands of people whose U.S. citizenship could not be confirmed cast ballots in one or more election in the state during the past 22 years.

Texas Secretary of State David Whitley said a year-long evaluation found about 95,000 people described as “non-U.S. citizens” who are registered to vote in Texas. About 58,000 of them voted in Texas elections between 1996 and 2018, Whitley said.

“Integrity and efficiency of elections in Texas require accuracy of our state’s voter rolls, and my office is committed to using all available tools under the law to maintain an accurate list of registered voters,” Whitley said.

Trump claim: Millions of illegals voted in 2016 for Hillary Clinton.

Total evidence to date: Up to 58,000 potential non-citizens have voted at least once in the last 22 elections.

Moreover, from the article:

"On Friday, Whitley’s advisory suggested that names on the list be checked to determine people’s citizenship.

The list is made up of people who showed some sort of identification, such as a green card, to the Texas Department of Public Safety while they were getting a driver’s license or identification card. Such a person may have later gained citizenship, registered to vote and actually voted, but ended up on the list because they had presented a green card to DPS.

Whitley’s notice to counties was sent to indicate that the names on the list should be considered “WEAK” matches."

In other words, 58,000 people had names that matched to the name of a potential non-citizen. Not only were the 58,000 names not confirmed as non-citizens, but the people who they know voted may not even have been the same people.

The number of proven illegals voting is still at....? Zero-ish?

This is akin to Trump's "I saw thousands and thousands of Muslims in Jersey City cheering as the twin towers fell", and then citing the fact that one rooftop with 5 Muslims was reported during the event.

That being said, i'm not surprised in the least that Trump supporters are still putting this garbage out for consumption.

So the morality of the right was nothing more then painted on sanctimony? If it can be discarded so easily....

I think we'll see a swift return of moral outrage and indignation among many conservatives again if the next President is a liberal Democrat and he or she demonstrates the slightest hint of immorality that Trump himself is guilty of. We won't hear how we're not supposed to judge the President or hear the usual excuses we're told about Trump or hear a single word about locker room banter either.

But you might be a future felon so they were just doing a preemptive purge.

Or, perhaps they could be more responsible with their reproductive decisions? Is it too much to ask?
Oh no, that's too little to ask. Even if they are responsible with their reproductive decisions, they might inadvertently endanger the unborn.

Oh I don't doubt that for a second ... especially if it's the guy who is a homosexual (Buttigeg, was it?).

"Illegal alien" pretty much tells their legal status.

I’m truly more interested in the rights of the after born.

Why not look after the rights of those most vulnerable to being dismembered and killed? Isn't the goal of the Left the protection of the most vulnerable and most helpless?

The one least likely to start a nuclear war with a tweet.

Yet with the "blizzard of tweets" (as the MSM likes to call it), all the nuclear missiles are still in their silos.

If America looked after the rights of those most vulnerable to be dismembered and killed we would have no oil.

Funny how so-called "pro-life" conservatives have no problem with killing babies and unborn babies (along with children, women, elderly, sick, etc.) in other parts of the world so they can fill their tanks with filthy, bloody gas.

But hey don't let the truth get in the way of your rhetoric...

As I just explained to someone in another thread, "truth" seems to get redefined depending on who's telling the story. This narrative you put forth in your post is a prime example. What you're leaving out is the fact that America is producing its own oil, and is also exporting. If we went to Iraq or Afghanistan for oil, then where is it? Why are oil and gas prices going up if we now have all their (and our own) oil? And the idea that we killed unborn babies (along with children, women, elderly, sick, etc.), that's just emotional rhetoric that's not even worth responding to until you provide proof of your claim.
