A crowd member yells "shoot them!"

The President didn't tell the guy he was wrong and instead laughs and cracks jokes about it.

The audience loves it.

Anyone else find that disturbing?

I'm honestly not surprised by this at all because he is the man who said: (1) He could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and he wouldn't lose any voters, (2) He encouraged his supporters to "knock the crap out" of the protestors during his campaign rallies, and (3) He suggested that the "Second Amendment" people could act against Hillary Clinton if she got elected.

Besides, what kind of a person would crack a joke about shooting another person? Oh, that's right... it would be a person like Donald Trump, the man who now represents the Republican Party.

After all, he did brag with pride when he said: “They say I have the most loyal people, where I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters, okay? I'm sorry but I fail to see the humor in joking about shooting another person. I'm confused about how joking about taking the life of another human being is meant to be funny. But apparently the current President of the United States and his loyal conservative (Christian) supporters do think it's funny.

Anyone remember when the outrage du jour for the right was Hillary's callous remarks about killing Gaddafi?

"Bring me the head of John the Baptist". It's the feminine nature that kills, and not the masculine. Donald Trump, being highly masculine, is probably one of the least likely Presidents to intentionally kill people. He's a civic nationalist(American Dream), which is no longer viable.

That was his opportunity to say something like "No, that would be wrong. This is the United States of America and we are much better than that."
