Any idea what'll come of this? Everyone seems divided, based on what the article said.

May God bless us all!

By the way, regardless of the name, (National Catholic Reporter) is NOT considered an orthodox Catholic source.

Yeah, NC Reporter is not orthodox, I'm just curious, why did you bring this up? There's no article from them in this thread.

Because I told him there was more info if it was Googled. I saw a lot from the "National Catholic Reporter" that would be distorting the Vigano topic.

Didn't we already go through this in the fifth century? And again in the eleventh century? Then again in the sixteenth and once more in the twentieth? This is just.....argh....Satanic? Really???
These accusations are getting serious.:prayer: God help us. God help Francis.

I don't think anything will become if it. Just like the Vigano letter.
There's the Vigano letters, blown off by pope Francis who even publicly refused to comment.

But also what Dominican theologian Thomas Weinandy wrote that got himself forced out of his position as theologian to the USCCB. Otherwise no response.

And the Dubia from those four Cardinals, for which there has been not one word of response. How long has that been?

And the Filial Correction Concerning the Propagation of Heresies, which got nothing. Almost two years ago.

Am I missing anything?

I doubt pope Francis will say a word about this. But that isn't the point of this one. The point of this one is to ask bishops to get involved. A few might. Most are going to be cowardly. What could happen is that this could be a new schism if it goes anywhere at all. It has some notable signers, including Adian Nichols. So it's not a nothingburger.
