I specifically distanced myself from the word "rule." I will say it again... God created Adam and gave him the authority over all things. Being alone God made her an "êzer" which means aid, assistant, helper. Chavah (Eve) assisted him, was an aid to him, helped him... but wasn't created to stand equal in that sense. We lose the picture of Christ in our own lives when we take the modern (western) position on equality. God is the head of Christ, Christ is the head of man, man is the head of woman. In each case, there is an authority above the other. That doesn't mean the "other" is without value.... it just means God created an authority structure. If you don't see that or accept that, that's fine... but it's between you and God, not you and me.
