2 Cor 10:3-5 For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh. 4The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5We tear down arguments, and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

I Pet 5:5-11 And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,
“God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 6Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, so that in due time He may exalt you. 7Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 8Be sober-minded & alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9Resist him, standing firm in your faith & in the knowledge that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.

10And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore you, secure you, strengthen you & establish you. 11To Him be the power forever & ever. Amen.

Luke 11:20-23 But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. "When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are undisturbed. But when someone stronger attacks & overpowers him, he takes away the armor on which the man relied & then he divides up his plunder. He who is not with Me is against Me & he who does not gather with Me scatters.

Amen about fighting the good fight of faith. It is a sure thing that the enemy has not stopped warring, as it is written, but will be raging on. That is why we are admonished to put on the full army of God and to be vigilant and alert, for he goes about, still, as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, and does so ever more ferociously.

Thank you for this wake up call to remain vigilant and alert against that ol' roaring lion, seeking easy prey. Let's keep on keepin' on.
