Has there ever been found examples of Reformed Egyptian and has it been confirmed by a non-LDS expert?

The Egyptian language is found throughout the Middle East. The Reformed Egyptian language seems not to be easily found. Expert Egyptologists will tell you this language and writing does not even exist.

In 1966, John A. Wilson, professor of Egyptology at the University of Chicago, wrote, "From time to time there are allegations that picture writing has been found in America… In no case has a professional Egyptologist been able to recognize these characters as Egyptian hieroglyphs. From our standpoint there is no such language as 'reformed Egyptian'."

There are numerous expert sources supporting the lack of evidence for Reformed Egyptian. This one came from wikipedia.

Do you have any examples of the only language that existed on the earth before the tower of Babel? If not does that mean that it did not exist?

As a convert to Coptic Orthodoxy I can understand that remark without reading the article. For starters the Egyptian language is now known as Coptic due to the influence of the Arabian invaders who could not pronounce "Aegytpos". And Secondly, the Coptic church is well versed on all the various dialects, and period versions of it. While the Church uses a modified Greek alphabet, they still teach how to use Hieroglyphic alphabet etc. (I once had a book on "How to learn Bohairic Coptic" which is the dialect used by the Church and is of the early Christian Era). Anyway the Egyptians have kept track of that sort of thing, in the same way the Jews have kept track of their language (Hebrew and Aramaic), and the Catholics have kept up with Latin in its different forms both Classical and medieval.

There was only one language before the tower of Babel... I am betting it was Hebrew... Reformed Egyptian is a made up language to hoodwink the ignorant... Let face it, back in the early 1800's, there were a lot of ignorant people...

There are a lot of knowledgeable people in The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints now that do not see reformed Egyptian as being problematic. We have also Hebrew:

How do you think this supports your church's claims of Reformed Egyptian being a real language? You also claim "We have also Hebrew". The link you provided has no relation to your church, so I don't know why you use "We"?

The authenticity of the "Los Lunas" stone is questionable at best, and if so, highly likely not before the 1500s. That certainly does not support your BOM fairy tale time periods of ancient Hebrews traveling to the Americas where millions of people just happen to vanish and leave no trace behind.

It is possible that the Los Lunas Decalogue stone could be evidence of an ancient Jewish arrival in North America, but the elementary mistakes in the text, conventions that appear too modern for a Paleo-Hebrew inscription, the lack of reliable archaeological evidence for a Hebrew culture in North America before 1500, and the unreliability of the discoverer make it increasingly unlikely that the artifact is genuine. At the very least, more data is needed before concluding the existence of a pre-Columbian Hebrew settlement in the American southwest.

So, you have a family around 600bc that lived in Israel, but would travel to Egypt to trade Israeli goods, and buy Egyptian goods to take back to Israel to sell, and so this family got to be familiar with the Egyptian language.

This family now leaves the middle east and travels by ship to the America's.

In the Americas, they want to write about their experiences with God and their family history. They find that the Hebrew language is difficult, and cumbersome to write, so they use the Egyptian alphabet because it is easier to write.

Over the years, this Egyptian alphabet is changed (reformed) to increase the ease of writing, until 1,000 years later, the reformed Egyptian of the Americas, is almost not recognizable to the Egyptian people still living in Egypt.

Since this family left Israel, there was no contact with Israel or Egypt

Would this be so difficult to understand? Is this example such an outrageous example that it just could not happen this way?

OR is the bias against the BOM tainting your ability to reason? I don't know, I am just asking. It does not seem unreasonable to me for this example to have really played out in real life over a 1,000 year peirod of time.

Has the Egyptian written language never ever been reformed in any way by itself or its neighbors?

Why would JS try to hoodwink people about the language of the BOM? It seems like by doing so, he opened up a can of whoopie that could bring his whole book into question. If it was a scam, why not just say it was in ancient Hebrew and derail the entire "reformed Egyptian" problem?

Joseph Smith was Charismatic... He wasn't necessarily looking down the corridor of time... BTW, I have a copy of Joseph Smith's Bible... I should pull that out and quote it for you folks...

There are a lot of what if's and maybe's... The Egyptians were Israel's enemy...
Hagar is the mother of Ishmael, a huge lineage of people groups who are enemies of Israel... Starting in the Book of Exodus, Egypt was Israel's enemy moving forward... Why would they want the language of their enemies to write their supposed Holy Book...

Of course... My goal is to reach the elect of God and not those who are locked in completely to the LDS Religion...

I know that The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is the true church. Some people do not take keeping the commandments of God seriously. They should:
(New Testament | Ephesians 5:1 - 10)

1 BE ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

I suppose you could say I am locked in.

I believe that eventually the Book of Mormon will be proven to be true. However, lack of evidence proves nothing.

OK, I listened for as much as I could before I could not listen to words like, I don't know for sure, or I think, or I don't know his mind, or he could have, or I can not be sure. Enough question marks that I am not convinced by his study or guess work.

For instance he said here is a character that looks like an H. The next character looks like a 4, but it is a 4 with open top, so it looks like an H without the left leg. Then he says see what JS did? See how he manipulates the characters? And then he says "is this how a real language behaves?

Well, the English language behaves just like that. H vs 4 with an open top, looks just like an H without the left leg of the H. Wow, how bout that. The English language behaves like that too.

Enough stupidity.

Either JS invented reformed Egyptian. OR in many cases the characters are similar, but different than ancient Egyptian. I choose to believe that a reformed Egyptian that is similar to ancient Egyptian is a better explanation than a 14 year old farm boy who would have to have the temperament, understanding, intelligence, time, and reason to invent a Reformed Egyptian language to fool people about a book that gives him major problems all his life and finally gets him murdered in the end.

I suspect you don't realize how right you are with this observation.
Let me say that differently. Lack of evidence does not prove that the BOM people did not live in the Americas, just like JS says.

However, if you opened your eyes, there is lots of evidence. You will just not see it.
