Since finishing college in 2013 my stomach has been in a never ending pain cycle. No physical pressure can touch it.

It has snowballed to have caused dizziness and now limits my driving + walking + ability to play drums.

All the medical tests have been completed: healthy.

At this rate I'm willing to accept it's more of a spiritual/anxiety thing. I pray all the time yet experience no true relief. The stomach pains can last days, flaring up for no apparent reason.

If anyone has any advice, it would be welcomed. In the meantime, your prayers will be appreciated. Thanks :)

Try to exclude bread, rolls, pastry, biscuits, alcohol and similar from your diet.

And try regular drinking of 100% apple juice.

My next try would be exluding dairy products, mayonnaise, fried things.

My next try would be a ketodiet (eat meat only).

---

And of course, eliminate stress, fears and nervosity.

Hi ItalianStallion, I'm very sorry to hear that you're struggling with this debilitating pain that remains undiagnosed.

Praying for you.

God bless you! (Numbers 6:24-26)

--David
p.s. - When we were looking for answers for my dad (who had been in tremendous pain for years and who, like you, went undiagnosed for all of those years) one of his many doctors took a look at everything that had been tried and done for him over the years and told him that he needed to go Rochester, MN to the Mayo Clinic (which was good, because if you want insurance to pay for it, one of your local doctors has to send you there).

It ended up being the best thing that could have happened, because they were able to figure out, in very short order, what all of dad's local doctors had missed for almost a decade, and he was able to live out the rest of his life pain free :oldthumbsup: We met many other patients while we were there with similar, miraculous stories to tell.

Diagnosis is what they do, what they specialize in, and since that's what you need right now, a proper diagnosis, they may be the way to go. They have 3,000 of the best doctors on staff there, and unlike doctors everywhere else, they all talk to one another if they are having any sort of trouble getting to the bottom of a patient's problem(s). This kind of communication between all of their doctors was part of the Mayo brothers original vision for the Clinic, so doctor to doctor communication isn't just recommended, it's required.

They also run every diagnostic test known to man right there in the clinic (as well a number of diagnostic tests that no one else it the world runs but them). You begin your testing first thing in the morning, and by the afternoon of that same day, 3,000 doctors can see the results on your tests :)

There is so much more to that place. We LOVE Mayo Clinic. Maybe they can help you like they helped my dad and SO many others (who thought they had no hope of being diagnosed properly, much less of ever being cured). Just call them up if you'd like to and they'll tell you.

About Us - Contact Mayo Clinic

There are two other Mayo Clinics, one in Arizona, and one in Florida. We've only been to the original location in Rochester, MN, but I'm sure the other locations are good as well. Again, just ask them.

hmm my mother almost died because of stomach pain that she could not get proper help for. I heard that chilies and peppers are good at combating the bacteria that make ulcers.

What were the tests done (be specific)?

Did they test for parasites, worms?

Did they test the blood for tick parasites?

Is it internal or merely external?

What is your diet? How many times a day do you eat and when?

Do you snack inbetween meals?

Are you hunched over all day at a computer desk or drum (trap set)?

Do you drink dairy, alcohol, fermented materials, carbonated?

Do you eat meat/flesh, and if so, is it beef, chicken, seafood (be specific)? If you do eat meat, do you eat any bloody (rare), raw materials (sushi)?

When does the pain flare up, after meals, during, before, at bedtime, morning, lunch?

Do you suffer from constipation, blocked or backed bowels?

Is it upper stomach (actual stomach), or lower intestinal (large and small) pains?

Have you had a check on the appendix and kidneys?

Are you diabetic?

Do you have any indigestion (acid reflux, coming back up through the throat)?

Do you eat fast or slowly, is there any air being trapped in the system when you eat?

What type of "drums" do you play, and what is the style of 'music' (these things are also spiritual)?

Is the pain a dull ache, a throbbing, or sharp spikes, or mixture?

Are you on any types of Medication (over the counter or prescription or illegal (drugs))? if so what? (even Aspirins cause internal bleeding)

Begin to think what you can do to eliminate possibilities and narrow down the cause or causes.

Shotgun approach (dietary):

Eliminate Dairy (milk, cheese, etc of animals, you can switch to vegetarian versions (Daiya, etc)) and animal byproducts (eggs, etc).

Eliminate Animal flesh (all, even fish).

Eliminate alcohol, sodas (carbonation), Drink pure water after meals (1 hr wait).

Eliminate snacking between meals.

Can drink cabbage juice, and eat cabbage leaves for healing of any ulceric effects.

Can drink activated charcoal (NOT regular Charcoal)) (it will go through in about 24 hours depending).

Can apply external Heat (water bottle, or pad) to the area to draw blood to the area, or can apply cold (ice pack, etc) to the area (to draw blood away). You will have to determine which is helpful.

Link to materials to help you search based upon the symptoms you know, especially check the Natural Remedies Encyclopedia - Link

I have fought stomach/colon problems since college, off and on. The first thing that you need to do is to make a list of the foods that seem to be the worst for you and avoid them at once. Otherwise, it is possible that you could have some unusual cause of your pain. Have you considered going to one of the best clinics in the country, like the Mayo Clinic or the Cleveland Clinic, etc? They might be able to get to the bottom it.

I concur with your recommendation about the Mayo Clinic. Mom had level 4 cancer 10 years ago and was saved by the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, so I am big on them. However, there are a few other places that are excellent also. U.S. News and World Report ranks the top clinics around the country, both overall and also for various health problems. I think that the Mayo Clinic, the Cleveland Clinic and John Hopkins in MD are usually at or near the top and probably UCLA in CA as well.

First, I pray for your complete healing!

My daughter had similar symptoms, and we found that the Kaufmann Anti-Fungal Diet helped immensely. You can find the diet at knowthecause.com. I will say, though, that the symptoms reappeared after a couple of years, and the Holy Spirit led me to pray for her healing. The pain left immediately, and she has not experienced those symptoms since then. That was 10 years ago.

Blessings!

Have had everything tested. Went to a few specialists and my health is completely normal. I slowly cut out foods, then one day i just decided to eat everything against and it didn't make my stomach worse.

It seems more like a stomach nerves/anxiety thing. I can't have any physical touch to my stomach and foods dont flare it up; motion and stress and physical hitting of the stomach flares it up. I feel better than i can eat more foods and I push myself but basic stuff (playing basketball, going for runs) exacerbate it.

For the past eight or nine years I've gone through a great deal of stomach pain. Mine is related to diabetes and high blood sugars, and perhaps in combination with medications like Metformin. In my case it is the body's way of rejecting the sugars put into the body, but it's not quite so simple as not eating any sugars. I've been through times where it made so sense, literally waking up from sound sleep due to severe stomach pain, and days spent mostly on the toilet, feeling like my guts will come out. Sorry to go into such details. Have you checked your blood sugars? One testing may not give accurate results because blood sugars tend to go up and down based on a number of variables. Whatever it is, I hope you get to the bottom of whatever is causing you pain.

Done everything. blood work, endoscopy, ct scan. Everything is completely normal with my body. After years of being 'healthy' but stomach nerves freaking out...I'm leaning towards spiritual and fear.

I am praying for you, brother, that God delivers you from this burden and gives you wisdom.

Do with this what you will, as I do not know which tests you've had, but my sister was having painful stomach issues for years that were very similar to your description. She started avoiding certain foods and it did nothing, she went and had allergy testing and also certain food testing, including wheat. Everything came up fine. She randomly decided to cut out wheat 100% (which contains gluten) and I mean every trace, from her diet for ~6 months. Even though they told her she wasn't celiac and had no reaction to it, it completely wiped all of her issues out. Wheat has an inflammation effect on the body and for this very reason, the vast majority of professional bodybuilders (who have their pro card) avoid it during competitions because it 'bloats' them and inhibits their digestion and also causes swelling at random places, joints, organs and even the stomach.

I know this sounds very strange but I know this worked in my sister's case.

God bless.

Forever in Christ,

Missy

What really helped me was gathering all of my doctor's reports, scan reports and lab work reports. I learned that my doctor's over the years withheld things from me that were either not part of their specialty or they thought was "no big deal" at the time. If you ever visited the ER, I would ask for any copies of scans or blood work that they might have done there as well. It's a great place to start, going over all your medical records, and then researching what you can online (on legitimate websites) about any abnormal findings that you might have had. By no means would I ever tell you to diagnose yourself but what I mean is, it's a start for you to know where to go, what doctor see and what tests to push for. Arm yourself with knowledge. I learned a lot of the tests my doctor were giving me were just very basic test. They really weren't digging deep enough. I have learned through my own health battle that you really have to really advocate for yourself during doctor's appointments. Maybe you have already done all of this, but if not, I thought I'd share my advice just in case.

Did you get a colonoscopy? An endoscopy? If not, that is something I would definitely ask for them.

Anyway, in the meantime, I pray: Dear Jesus, please place your healing hands on this man's stomach. Please heal him. Please provide him relief. If that can't happen, please steer him in the right direction to the right doctor who can really help him. Please give him answers. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Anxiety may be the cause. I had anxiety for years and my symptoms were never mental really, always physical and particularly my chest and stomach. At its worst my stomach was awful. If I ate, I'd be on the toilet in 10 minutes and then sporadically throughout the day.

We can't give medical advice here on CF, but I'd definitely speak to your doctor about medication options regarding anxiety. That's what I did and it has helped beyond measure!
