Yes, there was a topic on what you are speaking of some time ago. There are some that do not believe that as brought out on that topic.

The mods squashed that thread for whatever reason. I think it should be made clear that masturbation is included in lust.

No. It is only lust if it happens in conjunction with inappropriate content or fantasizing about any other person that you cannot rightfully have.

Pediatricians will tell that it is quite normal well before a person starts thinking like the above.

(And you know what they say about "assume..." )

Does lust in one form or another ever stop hounding us when we are celibate? Any sure way of getting rid of it short of losing celibacy?

It's an affliction common to all. It's normal to have those urges but resisting them is a virtue.

Plenty of women are bount up by uncertainty regarding masturbation vs. lust (if you look at the Struggles with Sexuality sub-forum.

No, I don't think sex before marriage is biblically ok.

I actually didn't think about a spouse. It's usually assumed when you're married you are covered.

So the pediatrician says that boys are thinking about sex as men are,or they're masturbating already? Please clarify.

My thought was that if you are no longer a celibate you are married and so lust doesn't enter the pic. But I realize that limits it too much.

Personally, the baby thing doesn't enter into it IMO as it is not a sexual thing or a lust thing. They are not doing it for any relief.
