I always enjoy that nice feeling when the dishes and pots have been scrubbed and buffed to such a shine I can see my little face in them. And all that extra space that has been made by me putting them away!
When I see people adding water to soap bottles and "hoping for the best", I often chuckle. Not just because it looks very silly, but because they often remind me of myself.
Unfortunately procrastination is my middle name - I like to put things off a little bit longer. And why not? Someone, somewhere, might do them for me and spare me all the work! "I'll do it later" I say, but hours later, it still remains undone.
In my relationship with my Heavenly Father, I am aware of the cleaning up and pruning that is needed in my life. The easiest part is saying "Lord help me", but the often the hardest part is giving my co-operation.
